My husband and I loved the location and had a really nice time despite the unpredictable weather. Shannan was a great host! The condo felt very “home like” and was perfect for our 12th anniversary getaway.

The Villa appears as if it has been recently renovated as it is very nice! Not only is it extremely nice it is very clean and decorated beautifully. Also the owner is very responsive and very thoughtful as she even left us a couple coffee mugs as gifts. It was a pleasant surprise to find the property was just as nice as advertised in the pictures.

Fripper Upper is an excellent place to stay on Fripp!

The owner thought of everything! Shannan communicated well and their property is excellent. Very well put together and prefect for two people. We loved it and hope to stay there again.

Fabulous stay again!

Our 2nd time staying here and it was just as gr8 as 1st time! Owners terrific communication, lovely thoughtful welcome gift bag added treat. All the little attention to detail is awesome. This will be a regular go to/return vacation get away!

Fabulous, Awesome Place/stay!

This is our 3rd time staying here and it continues to be our fav/go to place at Fripp! Clean, great location, beautifully decorated, awesome screened in porch/view, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom vanity area, tons of supplies/necessities provided little extras, lovely gift bag a nice touch...can't say enough. Great communication w owners. Look forward to our next stay!

Best condo ever!

This was the most comfortable we have ever felt in a condo we have stayed at. Everything was so well thought out and the condo was immaculate. We would definitely stay here again. 10 stars if we could select that!

Amazing get away hidden gem!!

Ideal property for two to escape to Fripp, we did a long weekend but could have stayed a month here. Best stocked rental I have ever stayed in from Kitchen supplies to towels, laundry supplies. Location made for easy acces to Marina, Beach accesses, pools, club and more. We will definitely stay here again in the future!! Thank you for being amazing hosts, we had family in other properties on the island and there was no comparison.

Fripp Island Fabulous!!

We fell in love with Fripp Island nearly 20 years ago and look forward to our visits every year! Fripper Upper was the perfect spot for us! Beautifully and comfortably appointed, immaculately clean and the owners thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need! Centrally located on the island, beautiful views, our new home away from home!!

Amazing Place, Amazing Location

Pictures don’t do it full justice, this place is an amazing experience, and is wonderfully situated between the channel and beach. Shannan was super helpful and kind throughout the whole process, you could really tell they put a lot of effort into making people feel welcomed and at home. 10 stars all around!

Retirement celebration.

This is the perfect property for a couples get away. We had a wonderful time. I appreciated all the helpful "notes" on how to operate everything. Check in and check out was a breeze. I enjoyed sitting on the porch every morning over looking the marsh and watching the sun rise. Perfect hosts.

Shannan was a great host - communication was awesome! We have been staying in Fripp for over 10 years - this was a couples trip and our favorite rental so far. Perfectly equipped - not a speck of dirt anywhere - location was perfect - decorated beautifully! We will be back! Thanks for an awesome long weekend!

Could be better could be worse!!

This is my new mantra, but Fripper Upper could NOT have been better for our little get away. We have rented homes and condos on OBX for 20 years. Fripper Upper was spotlessly clean. Had everything we could possibly have needed. The perfect location. The hosts were exceptional.....we hope to be able to come back again.

perfect getaway

Very clean, setup was both modern and beach themed. I loved the decor! dolphins were swimming off the back porch and deer would be there when you wake up. Nothing negative to say about the place. The property Manager Deborah was more than accommodating as she got our amenity cards taken care of in advance and all the helpful information that we could want. perfect and a much needed getaway. would highly recommend 10/10.

Perfect for 2 in Fripp!!

This condo is perfect for a party of 2 staying in Fripp. You're right across the street from the center of the activity of the island with the Adult Pool/Bar, access to the beach, tennis courts, etc. We had everything we needed and more inside the condo, and knew we could message Shannan if we needed help. The best part is having the marsh view from the screened in porch -- we watched gators feed, birds diving and jumping fish all week! And the deer frequented us, too. We're so excited to rent again when we come back!

Incredible!

We had the greatest experience staying at the Fripper Upper. My husband and I have gone to Fripp our whole lives and are getting ready to have our first baby this fall. We booked this precious place for a few days to get away for a “babymoon.” Not only was the villa beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable with EVERYTHING you could ever need, but the owners went above and beyond to include a precious gift for our baby! My husband and I both were brought to tears by this generosity, and for many reasons, will absolutely look forward to staying again.

Perfect!

This is an immaculate apartment with over the top attention to detail in the way it is furnished and maintained. The owner is responsive to your questions. The location is close to pickleball courts but on the backside so no noise. The view of the marsh is lovely. Honestly, what is not to like?

Frippin' Fantastic!

Shannan's condo was the perfect spot for us to celebrate our 18th anniversary and first time to Fripp Island. Extremely clean and exactly as described; the app she created for her guests was most helpful! LOVED the coffee/wine bar; I was completely obsessed w/ seeing all the deer! We had visitors everyday to the condo! Marsh views were incredible and my husband thoroughly enjoyed watching the storms roll in from the back porch. The bed was very comfortable. Location is perfect, especially if you get resort cards to have access to the pools and fitness center! Shannan was available via text if needed and very responsive! Almost NO noise from neighbors! Definitely recommend!!
