La cabaña de troncos | Cabaña rural con encanto

Este es el lugar para estar para una verdaderamente tranquilo, tranquilo, lejos de todo estancia. Esta cabaña de madera reconstruida se encuentra en medio de acres de campos bellamente mantenidos. Tiene algunos árboles a su alrededor, y la casa más cercana es la de los anfitriones. Un porche en la parte delantera tiene un columpio para disfrutar mientras observa el estanque de pesca. Un porche trasero cubre la caminata corta (unos 10 pies) a la pequeña cabaña de madera que es el baño. Hay una maravillosa bañera con patas antiguas (sin ducha) para proporcionar un baño de lujo. (Calor y aire, también!)

La restauración en esta cabaña de madera es excepcional con los troncos expuestos en las paredes interiores y exteriores. La cabina principal es una gran sala con sala de estar y mini cocina exclusiva diseñado para complementar el mobiliario antiguo. La chimenea es el punto focal de la habitación y se puede ver desde el desván. Verdaderamente un entorno romántico! Una escalera de tipo escalera conduce al desván para dormir que tiene una cama doble y una cama individual con colchas y un baúl grande y viejo.

El desayuno continental, incluyendo pasteles de panaderías locales se deja en su cocina para que usted pueda disfrutar siempre que lo desee. Sentado en la mesa redonda con café de la mañana y pasteles y mirando al fuego o mirando por la ventana en el estanque es una manera relajante para comenzar el día. Perfect Getaway

My (now) husband and I came here for a short honeymoon getaway! This little house is absolutely a perfect place to be able to sit back and enjoy nature. Cattle, deer, ducks, foxes, you name it! We got up early every morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise with coffee on the back porch. Firewood provided for the fireplace which we used every night. Pastries delivered daily and the host was the sweetest. I can’t say enough good things about this property. We will100% be back!

The one hour stay

Place smelled , sheets smelled , can’t stand in bathroom if you are 6 ft tall . Firewood needs to be lit with a flame thrower to get wood burning . TV is a antique and screen is very small . Located in a cow pasture. The worst part was how dark it is you can’t read and I was hoping to read 2 books I brought . No view from cabin . We stayed about one hour and drove back home . So much for a nice weekend .

Log cabin… fireplace … ducks

We had a great time! The directions were easy, and we didn’t really ever need to contact the host. (Who did leave pastries and fruit for us). It nice and quiet, and sleeping with the fireplace in a log cabin was most excellent. (Didn’t want to get out of bed) In the morning looked out the back window and watched ducks on the pond. (I guess I should’ve brought binoculars). Neat place, we would love to stay again sometime.

This is a beautiful peaceful setting. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. Be aware that there's no no internet but I did have cell service. I especially enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the small pond.

This property is a beautiful cabin, secluded and quiet. Its beautifully maintained and furnished. Keep in mind that if you rent this cabin, you have to go outside to use the restroom or take shower as the "bathhouse" is a few steps from the fro t door. The walkway is covered tho So even when it rains you stay dry. The host brings fresh baked goods in the afternoon for breakfast the next morning. Everything is provided. There was, juice and 2 kinds of milk in the fridge, a Keurig and a selection of coffees and tea and hot chocolate, fresh fruit and a selection of cerial to choose from. We brought supplies and took them all home again as we did not need anything. The only thing that should be kept in mind, and is not in the listing, the cabin is situated within a pasture. Its fenced in, but where you park you, ther is cows roaming free. We had a great weekend.

Beyond our Expectations!

We absolutely loved this cabin! The pictures don’t do it justice! Incredibly beautiful views, quaint, cozy and well kept cabin. Don’t let the detached bathroom deter you- it just adds to the unique charm. Perfect location out of town- feels completely isolated but not far from what we wanted to do in town. Enjoyed coffee on the porch while watching the cows and deer, wine by the fireplace each evening, and loved the special treats left for us! Yum! We fell in love with this place from the moment we saw it and each moment we were there made us want to stay longer! We will be back! Nice Experience!

I enjoyed my stay at the log cabin! Everything was really nice. My only complaint is that the hot water would run out very quickly and would barely fill the bathtub. Other than that I would definitely stay her again!

1800 log cabin with modern comforts

I want to move there...right there😀

There's a reason why the community of Fred' is booming. Such bootiful townfolk...but the majic is sitting on the front or back porch chasing or dodging the sun. It's NOT fancy...but it's perfect, Rich with history and craftsmanship. Bring your cane pole and some crappie jigs for the bass, some binoculars and pick up a sack of corn for the deer. We just stayed 5 nights and rarely left. Take a drive...turn left at the gate when leaving and take the big loop around. Email me for details on things to do galvestontexas@sbcglobal.net. Alan.
