First off, this is a very romantic setting, and was a perfect spot to celebrate our 36th anniversary. Pictures can't capture the beautiful use of cedar wood throughout the cabin, which extended from the carpentry to the countertops to the furniture. If you are as silly as I am for this wood, you'll be in heaven. The bed was very comfortable, and it was a treat to have the Jacuzzi. We chose this place because of its proximity to the Hilltop Cafe, where we had an amazing anniversary dinner and enjoyed the music of the proprietor, Johnny Nicolas. Schedule your getaway to coincide with one of his performances, and you'll be richly rewarded! When you make your reservations for the Hilltop, order the crab-stuffed flounder for two, which is also topped with shrimp. Having digressed, the cabin is very comfortable, and a feast for the eyes. There's an "instant" fireplace that added to the atmosphere. If visiting in the winter, you should request that they start the heater going the morning before you are scheduled to arrive. Because of the beautiful vaulted ceiling, the place takes a while to warm up. BTW, we saw five deer on the night we arrived! The cabin is one of the most romantic settings we've ever booked, and we plan to return. 5 stars.
