Why travel to the mountains only to share walls with neighbors as if you have never left the city? Welcome to YOUR OWN mountain oasis ,only 10 mins. from Winter Park Resort, in the neighboring town of Fraser. This SINGLE FAMILY home is 2,350 sq. ft. of pure mountain living. This 3 story home, full of natural light, sits on 1 acre of wooded landscape with southwest facing views of the Continental Divide and Byers Peak through the trees. Spend the day enjoying the outdoors and then relax in our private 5 person hot-tub or by the indoor gas fireplace. A remodeled and well appointed kitchen allows for home cooked meals which can be enjoyed around the indoor dining room table and breakfast bar. If you're still not tired of the outdoors after a long day of skiing, biking or hiking, enjoy dining and that glass of wine or Colorado craft beer on our back deck or flagstone patio. Our patio has a wood fire pit and Adirondack chairs, when it's not buried under all that snow! If you're lucky it'll be a clear evening and the stars and the Milky Way will put on a show for you. It's amazing how the sky lights up when you're away from the city lights! Time to come back inside? Gather your family and friends by the gas fireplace and stream your favorite movie on our smart TV. The house has a total of 3 bedrooms, a sleeping loft and 3 1/2 baths. Two of the guest bedrooms are on the lower floor, 1 with a connected full bath and the other bath right outside the bedroom door. The lower level has been newely renovated. The master bedroom is lofted, and is located on the top floor. It has a private deck and a newly remodeled bathroom. Bathroom has a large walk in shower that makes you feel like you are showering amongst the tree tops! There is a small lofted area just outside the master bedroom with a single daybed, great for up to 2 children or 1 adult to sleep and/or for you to hide away to read that book you brought with you or that you borrowed from our book shelf. There is also a washer and dryer available on the lower level for your use.

During the ski season, we always hope for snow, but cleaning off your car is no fun. Park two cars in the garage and up to 2 others in our large driveway. Don't feel like driving at all once you get here? No problem. This home is only 1 country block away from the ski resort shuttle bus stop. It picks up and drops off every 30 minutes during the ski season. Other conveniences include Safeway grocery store and liquor store less than 1 mile away and many restaurants in the towns of Winter Park, Fraser and Tabernash.

Don't want to leave fido at home? I have a Border Collie of my own and totally understand. The home is pet friendly (2 max) with an incremental pet fee to cover the cost of housekeeping fees that we are charged. Our fee is $200.00 total for up to 7 nights. Just click the pet fee box when making a reservation please.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this mountain house! The house is lovely, updated, open and light. The backyard provides mountain views into the peaceful forest and a nice hot tub in the backyard. (We even saw a moose!) The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials for cooking. Location was great so that we could go into the town of Winter Park, visit Grand Lake and enter into Rocky Mountain National Park. Easy access to hiking, mountain biking and paddle boarding.Host was helpful and responsive to our questions. We’ll definitely be back for the ski season too!

This cabin was an amazing place for our family - plenty of room and space for all of us to be together, and plenty of rooms for everyone to escape to when needed. We loved the private feeling of this house - it's surrounded by trees and not super close to other houses, but yet still really easy to get to town as well as to Winter Park for activities! Our favorite part was the hot tub outdoors - again felt very private and a great way to end the day. I personally loved that the kitchen was fully stocked - not just dishes and such, but cooking oils, seasonings, etc. Overall an incredibly comfortable stay in a beautiful setting!

I found my GO-TO ski house rental!

This house is great for me and my family of 6. It’s on a large lot and is set back from the street with so many pine trees that it feels remote and yet it is so close to everything, like the ski resort! I love the house itself too. It has an open floor plan with lots of windows and decks. The master bedroom and 2 guest bedrooms are separated by a level which has an open kitchen/dining/living room so it’s great for entertaining AND sleeping/couples privacy. My family prefers to stay in and cook dinner and then hit the hot tub (which is big and set back in the yard for great star viewing) and the kitchen is well stocked with more supplies and staples than I normally see in a rental. We even found a fondue pot in the cabinet and made cheese and chocolate fondue one night!I don’t know what the other review is all about because the house was very clean (and this is coming from someone who doesn’t even have dogs). True, it doesn’t have placemats - does anyone even use those anymore? Ha.

Fantastic Setting but Home Disappoints.

For context, we are long time VRBO renters and travel with our pet. My family spent 4 nights at this property over Thanksgiving. The grounds are beautiful and Jodie as a host is very responsive. However, we are rating "OK" since the home wasn't very clean and underdelivered. We do understand that it is listed as a pet friendly accommodation, but the untidiness went beyond excessive pet hair. The appliances, fixtures etc. were not very clean, some typical furnishings were absent (placemats, Kleenex, etc.) and several plateware were chipped. In addition, the home was soiled in places (sofa stains) and had some damage that was cosmetic but still detracted from the overall experience. M&S

Spring Break

We had a great time; the house is well stocked will kitchen supplies. We had a pair of red foxes that would show up every morning in the back yard while I was having coffee, very cool! The bus ride to the mountain is a bit long too (15 minutes) and back (30 minutes). The walk to the bus stop is a lite bit long, we drove and parked in the parking lot next to the bus pick up which solved that problem. It was a nice stay and the house provided us with a great place to gather, eat and catch up with our daughter who is attending CSU. The hot tub is nice sized and the fact that it is located away from the house in the pine trees is a neat touch. We would highly recommend staying here. The host responded very quickly to any questions that we had, I couldn't figure out the WIFI and she helped solve that problem very quickly.

A comfy family home

Our family of 6 adults plus a dog found this house to be comfortable. The host left explicit instructions and easy to follow. The kitchen is large enough to have three or four people preparing meals. The house is located away from the hustle and bustle of the resort which we loved, but still easy to get to via a car or shuttle. The house is in a wooded area which gave us privacy from the neighbors. The house is nearby to many activities, grocery store and shops. The reason I did not give a 5 star rating; In the kitchen area there were two blinds missing, during the morning sun it made it difficult to sit at the dining table. In the master bathroom, there are no towel bars next to the sink. The shower head could use a replacement as only one spray setting worked well. The loft area has 3 of 4 lights that are burned out. The air return in the loft area and the tops of the ceiling fans need to be cleaned. Would I stay here again, yes definitely!

Great location to everything and the bus line stop was just 50 yards away. We very much enjoyed our time with family and friends. Our Denver gang drove up for a few nights and days of skiing Winter Park. The garage was a plus for the snowy days, no cleaning!!! We highly recommend this place for a family get-a-way!

Perfect ski home

This home was perfect for our family with 3 couples and a teenager. Everyone had their separate rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed, everything was clean, we were able to park two Grand Cherokees in the garage with some extra storage room for gear. It was very close to Winter Park Ski slopes, grocery store, eateries and shopping. The neighborhood was nice for taking walks and was only a 1/2 block to the bus stop where you can get a free ride with your ski gear to the slopes. It was perfect! Thank you and we will likely be returning, hopefully next year!

Loved the spread out neighborhood. Made us feel secluded yet easy to drive to everywhere. Open master area makes it hard if others want to stay up & watch tv. Loved the hot tub & it’s location. Grilling was easy & space wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay

We enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen is big and has everything you need. There is a nice grill but we couldn't find grill utensils. There is plenty of pantry space. I didn't realize the master bedroom is open to the downstairs. Privacy is sorely lacking. You can't sleep if anyone is up in the kitchen or family room. Also, the two extra bedrooms are below grade. They're about two feet underground, creating a basement kind of feeling and smell. The washing machine and dryer are great. Good quality. The hot tub was a nice bonus. Nice and clean. The TV's are a joke. They're too small to view, especially in the master where the TV is as big as a large computer screen. Bonus: deer and fox ran through the back yard. There are no lounge chairs on the upper deck which is a shame because sunning there is great. I brought my own from Denver. The home provided easy access to all the hikes we did. The home needs a little TLC. The decks need to be sanded and stained to prevent splinters. The garage door works every fifth time. It's next to impossible to get the water temperature right in the master bath. There is no dresser in the master so we used the extra bed in the loft to place all our clothes on. Overall, the home is overpriced for what you get. I owned a home on Balsh Blvd and rented it out so I'm very familiar with prices. Still, we're glad we had a week in the mountains.

Relaxation at its finest

What a amazing time! From the check in instructions, to the interactions, everything was perfect! This property has EVERYTHING! It’s convenient to so many great little spots for meals or the store to cook at the house. We loved that we could have our friends dog with us as well. What a treat! The couch is comfy, the fireplace is perfect, the patio was great to enjoy the birds and cook our dinner. Thank you again for such a nice stay! 😁
