We had a lovely view from the balcony of our room of the surrounding urban area with a view of the Dom. It was fairly central to the city and just a short walk to everything we wanted to see. It was clean with nice amenities and the staff was friendly and helpful. Marta, the concierge, is a lovely person, friendly, and so very helpful.

Room was spacious and very clean. Included a wardrobe, desk, desk chair, armchair, large bed and side tables. Window can open, which is great. The bathroom was also spacious with a rain or normal shower option. Bathrobes and slippers provided. The corridors are wide and spotless and no disruption from other guests. The breakfast was included as an Expedia VIP Access perk and was great, loads to choose from - hot food like sausages and eggs, cereals, fruits, different breads, cold meat, cheeses, pastries, cakes, and an omelette station with a chef cooking to order. Location is great - 5 mins walk from a main station that has the U and S trains. 5 mins from main shopping and 10mins from the old town square. The DFF was about 25min walk away through the old town, across the bridge and along the river - nowhere feels far when the weather is good! Would definitely stay here again.

If you're seeking a hotel experience akin to staying in North America while in Germany, this hotel may be suitable for you. However, it lacks the authentic German or European atmosphere typically expected. The front desk staff demonstrated a lack of professionalism, engaging in an argumentative exchange regarding the city tax, and I was overcharged for it (a reminder that customer satisfaction should always be a priority in hospitality). We booked two rooms—one of which was quiet, while the room facing Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse was significantly affected by noise. On a positive note, the hotel is ideally situated near the Zeil, offering excellent shopping and dining options. It is also a mere 10-minute walk from Römerberg and the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew.
