Vriendelijk onthaal . De uitbaters spreken ook een woordje Engels wat toch wel gemakkelijk was . Wij moesten geen borg betalen , ook niet voor de schoonmaak . Je moet het zelf doen . Enkel toeristenbelasting. Zowel de gehuurde lakens als de handdoeken zijn betalend ! Het is wel een gezellig park met vlak ernaast een restaurant en vlak ervoor het strand waarvan er in totaal niet ver van elkaar 5 ( stranden ) zijn . Dat maakt het ook niet overvol . Men kan wandelingen maken op de boulevards en er zijn mooie vergezichten van verschillende eilandjes . Ook is er een fort ( Vauban ) gratis te bezoeken . Voor sommige eilanden moet men betalen om ze te mogen bezoeken . Verder was er ook een kermis en een circus . Overal in de straten groeien stokrozen wat het gezellig en apart maakte .

Gezellig mooi stadje met bloemen en vele winkeltjes, vis en groentenmarkt elke dag. En uiteraard lekkere oesters en mosseltjes. Een boottocht naar fort Boyard is best leuk. Prima restaurantjes. Verblijf is eenvoudig en niet te groot. Wel een aangenaam privéterras. Het zwembad is een grote troef.
