Pelican L05 - First floor unit, walk out to the lazy river and heated pool. Luxurious three-bedroom, two bathrooms at Okaloosa Island's most requested property - Pelican at Destin West Beach and Bay Resort. This unit was completely remodeled and is absolutely stunning!

The best part: this first floor unit has a great patio with chairs and tables to watch the sunset! The deck below the patio has your own gas grill and outdoor kitchen. Since you're on the first floor it's easy access to the pool and lazy river. Patio area has a great outdoor kitchen and huge table to enjoy your meals!

Free cable, high-speed wireless and internet available in the condo. Sleeps 8! Pelican L05 offers wonderful views of the bay and lazy river! The spacious living room has plenty of seating and all the comforts of home including a beautiful sofa and a large flat screen TV. A sliding glass door lets lots of sunlight in and opens to the balcony where you can relax enjoying all the sounds of summer while watching the palms sway in the breeze.

Kitchen
This modern kitchen features all stainless-steel appliances and offers everything needed to make a delicious home cooked meal, including coffee pot, blender, toaster oven, crock pot, etc. No reason to bring anything from home when staying in this unit. The lovely quartz counter tops and bar provide lots of space to prepare dinner, and serve. The large kitchen island with barstools to seat 4 and is the perfect space to enjoy playing board games with the family, as well as dine.
Living room
Extra-large living room has comfortable sofa and love seat. There’s a television to watch the big game or for movie night makes relaxation a breeze! DVD player to watch movies after a day at the beach. Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors for easy exit to the patio, with views of beautifully landscaped areas and the bay. It does not get any better than this!
Master Suite
The elegant Master Bedroom has a King platform bed, triple dresser and flat screen TV. This bedroom offers a private bathroom with a beautiful tiled shower and two sink vanity.
Guest rooms
The second bedroom with Queen size bed and access to second full bathroom. The room has a large dresser and offers a flat screen television.
Third bedroom has a a bunkbed (full lower and twin upper). Plenty of room for the kids to play games or watch their own TV.
I have tried to make this unit as child and vacation friendly as I could. I believe that you and your family will enjoy it as much as my family does.
PLEASE NOTE: This condo is not a fully handicap accessible. The sinks are not lower, the bathroom does have a standard door and the shower is not a roll in shower. There is a raised metal piece at the sliding door that prevents a wheelchair from accessing the balcony easily. There is an elevator for the building and all amenities can be accessed by a wheelchair. We loved staying here - wish we had time to stay longer! Home had everything we needed! It was clean, family friendly and had coffee pods for us to use!! Perfect easy access to elevator and pool. We appreciated the wagon, beach chairs and sand toys to use at the beach. Host was quick to respond to the question we had. Would stay here again if we were in the area.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Destin West L5. An amazing location adjacent to a lazy river and multiple swimming pools and the bay. Access to the beach was quick and easy. The owners were generous with details including beach towels, cart, chairs and umbrella as well as numerous pool toys//floats, etc. There was plentiful servings of coffee k cups, and more than adequate kitchen utensils, plates, spices, and other necessities. One thing to note, the washing machine had a malfunction during the stay. I was able to quickly message the owner, who immediately responded and sent out a repair man within one day. The owners are very responsive, communicate well and want to ensure you have the best possible experience. Hands down, I would book again with this property. 5 stars!

Our check in process was painless! So the resort has different buildings all which feature different amenities but each guest has all access to each amenity with your bracelet on. The beach was across the street but there's access in building next to Pelican which is still apart of the resort. Honestly it seemed like a bit of a maze but after the first night, a little walking and mingling, everyone made sense of it all lol. The people were so friendly! The condo itself was clean, beautiful and had all the conveniences without all the tedious rules! We'll definitely be back!

This condo was updated so nice!!! Stocked kitchen and coffee on hand was great. Beach gear was nice to have chairs , wagon , and a big umbrella. The patio was large and nice to sit out on in the mornings and evenings. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Josh!!

Lovely Condo!

We’ve stayed in several condos at Destin West over the years. This one is by far the nicest and cleanest! On our second day of staying in this one the fridge somehow came unplugged. The owner responded immediately. At the time we didn’t know what the problem was. Grateful it was just a simple issue. It was nice to meet the owner as we’ve never met any owners in the past. This newly and tastefully renovated condo is so well stocked with attention to details. Spice cabinet has just about everything you can think of. We didn’t even have to run out and buy more trash bags or toilet paper. There were plenty. We have a special needs grandson who loves the water. This condo is conveniently located to the pool and lazy river. These little things made our trip even more special and enjoyable. Hope to be back next year.

Great property with lazy river and many pools

We really loved this property and hope to return. It was very well equipped and the first floor location gives you direct access to the large pool, lazy river and several hot tubs. You also have direct access to a gorgeous white sand beach on the ocean side and the boat dock and fishing pear on the bay side. The property managers were very responsive and easy to deal with. The unit has tvs in all bedrooms and the family room. Lots of beach gear and very well equipped kitchen. Good air conditioning Choosing a first floor unit was a great idea. Good parking and very convenient to all the Ft Walton and Destin attractions. The info left on attractions and dining locations was greatly appreciated.

This place was great. The best part is that it was just steps from the pool and lazy river. The guest bathroom shower is a little awkward setup but still a great shower. And the sliding glass door was a little difficult to open and close. Very minor things for a great condo and location.

We've been staying at DW since 2008. This unit was the best we've ever had in terms of location and in condo amenities. We got this specifically to have the outdoor kitchen and grill and that worked out great because we wanted to cook out as much as possible. The inside kitchen had more supplies than I've ever seen anywhere in my 15+ years of vacation rentals around the country. The condo itself was within steps of the lazy river entrance and that was super convenient. Communication with the host was great. Highly recommend this unit for families who love to cook!

Amazingly Convenient and lovely condo

You cannot find a more lovely and convenient spot if you love a lazy river. We really enjoyed the ease of running to the lazy river for a few rounds and back inside for another! Having the private grill was also handy and the huge bar in the kitchen made for lots of room! We hung out on the patio furniture a lot also. One special note…we did have adults and one child sleep in the bunk room and while it’s not great for suitcases etc, it slept just fine for us. Will definitely keep this one saved for next time!
