Old property, old fixtures. None of that really bothered me or was uncomfortable. What made the stay unenjoyable was the noise the mini split AC made. A loud hum/whistle that would not go away. We tapped on the case, adjusted the air flow and fan direction, but nothing worked. Had to get up in the middle of the night and just turn it off it was so loud. Couldn’t sleep until it was off, and then only until it got hot again.

Only place I will stay in Alpine

Absolutely loved my stay here! If you are looking for a 5 star hotel then this is not your place. If you are looking for a retro, clean room with hot water and a/c then look no futher. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

You will have your basic needs including a small kitchen. The room was cleaned each day. There was no contact with lodging staff. The property is dated, does not look quite like the pictures.

I have never stayed anywhere like this. My room did not look like the pictures on the web site. Very old and just concerned about safety and insects. The reviews and the state of this room are not as advertised. Coffee machine has used filter with used coffee in it. The cold water when turned on causes the pipes to rattle. The traffic noises is difficult. Disappointed

I arrived after hours and it was easy to get my key. However, the area lighting was poor and it was hard to find my cabin. The room is cute and has everything you need should you like in room DIY dining. The delicious coffee was a great way to start my day and I was glad I didn't need to go looking for a good brew.

Like walking into the past!

This is an authentic motor inn, like walking into the past. If you expect modern five star accommodations then choose another motel. This was a quaint, clean, historic room. It did have plenty of outlets for modern electronics and a TV. But the board games provided in the lobby were more fun.

It was an old school lodge and was cool but no staff to be helped by. Gave good instructions to self check in and check out. Shower head wasn’t strong water and outdated and slightly dirty but it’s because it’s an old establishment

Antelope Lodge was definitely NOT worth the nightly US$ 125 rate. While the room, bedding & towels appeared clean, the Lodge was very out-dated, generally shabby and needed updating / modernizing. Inside, the room there were exposed electric cables on the walls, light fittings that did not work and the room needed redecorating with new plaster and paint. Outside, the grounds were untended and untidy. We saw broken fences and old metal and wooden yard furniture that needs replacement. Overall, a very unenjoyable one-night stay and we will not return.

Nice stay

The room was comfortable with a fun, old-school vibe. The bathroom is very tiny, which could be challenging for some people. We enjoyed sitting in the well-apportioned courtyard. Cute place!

Cute and comfortable if you have to be here

Cute fifties-style motor lodge with modern-day upgrades - The appliances looked retro but were modern and functional. No one in the office, code to get to key. Kitchen and lounge buildings aren't obvious but once you find them, nice addition. This area is too hot for comfort, even in early April. The A/C worked fine but when outdoor, beware. Long drive between everything.
