Our Cabin:
Peaceful mountainside cabin in the Blue Ridge mountains, close to downtown Asheville, airport, and local attractions including Biltmore Estate, River Arts District, waterfalls, hiking, breweries, vineyards, restaurants, and wedding and concert venues.
Spacious nature themed cabin on 7-wooded acres with two cascades on either side! Spend time on the large wraparound porch with a mountain view. Relax and hear the sounds of nature and the peace of water trickling down the mountain! Relax in the hot tub in a private setting with views of the mossy rockface or enjoy sitting inside or outside at either of the 2 fireplaces or roast marshmallows at the outdoor firepit! Take a short hike up a rustic trail along the mountain side stream to a breathtaking view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Have fun indoors with our recently upgraded game room with ping pong, air hockey and foosball! and arcade machine, with a good selection of games including Pacman and Galaga!
The living room is equipped with various board games and a good selection of books for your reading pleasure.
There are four TBs throughout the cabin, 50 - 60 inch, in the living room, game room, master bedroom and queen bedroom downstairs, with Disney channel and all apps provided!

- Pisgah National Forest: Hiking, Swimming Holes, and Waterfalls such as Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock Falls, and many more
- Dupont State Forest: Hiking and Waterfalls such as Triple Falls, High Falls and many more - our personal favorite!
- Craft Breweries: Family-friendly breweries close by such as Turgua Brewing and Whistle-Hop. Other major breweries include Sierra Nevada, Highland, French Broad, New Belgium.
- Vineyards and Cideries: St. Paul's (both Vineyard and Cidery), Point Lookout, Southers Williams, Burntshirt, Black Mountain Cider & Mead
- Explore neighboring tows of Hendersonville, Black Mountain, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure.
- Shopping in Downtown Asheville, Asheville Mall, and local shops in Fletcher and Arden.
- Everything Western North Carolina has to offer!
Please note we allow up to 2 small dogs (less than 20 lb each) with permission from host and pet fee.
For your comfort, the maximum number of adults is 12.
Guest have access to the entire cabin and grounds including the hot tub!
Other items of note:
The cabin comes equipped with a whole house generator.
Two security cameras are in place, one above the garage door and one on the first post of the balcony, both with a view over the parking area and a ring doorbell with view of front door area of the porch. Cameras will make short recordings when activated by motion sensor. There are also 2 trail camera's in the wooded areas pointing away from the cabin. These are not intended as security cameras, but to track wildlife.
Use of Firepit may be restricted from time to time due to local County burn bans.
A Full set of house rules is found in the rules section, but most important:
- Relax, enjoy and have fun!
- No parties or loud noises outside which may disturb our neighbors, including at the firepit.
- Neighborhood quiet time is after 10 pm.
- No tampering with electronic devices.
- No smoking in cabin or on the porch.
- Only registered guests at time of booking. Extra person charge of $25 per person per day.
- Guests are not allowed on property before check in or after check out. $50 per hour charge will apply.
- Please enjoy the stream, but do not re locate any of the rocks as it is a natural habitat for salamanders and other wildlife and is environmentally sensitive.
- Fire wood is not provided. but may be purchased at local gas stations and grocery stores..
The flow of the stream may vary depending on time of year and amount of rainfall.
