Farmhouse la Lande, single-storey, pool – Dordogne

One single 105 m² gîte on the property, with its own private garden and outdoor spaces, surrounded by nature, with a swimming pool, a pond and a stream.

The gîte accommodates up to 8 guests and has its own garden and sunny terrace.

The new 8 x 4 m swimming pool has a maximum depth of 1.60 m and is equipped with a thermal cover. A temporary terrace is currently in place, with further outdoor improvements planned for autumn and spring.

We welcome you to a warm and peaceful setting, ideal for relaxing with family or friends, or simply enjoying some quiet time away from it all.

The gîte includes:
* 3 comfortable bedrooms, with quality bedding and shutters to ensure a good night's sleep;
* 2 shower rooms, one of which is ensuite to a bedroom;
* a spacious living room with dining area, fireplace and piano available for guests;
* a fully equipped kitchen;
* a separate toilet.

The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals: a 3-burner gas hob, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, air fryer, multifunction microwave with several cooking modes, permanent-filter coffee maker for ground coffee, toaster, kettle, etc.

The greatest asset of the gîte is its peaceful location. The swimming pool, pond and natural spring are all close by. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walking, cycling and exploring.

The swimming pool is shared only with our family when our children are staying with us during their holidays. The rest of the time, you will generally have the pool all to yourselves.

The garden is not fenced and the farm is surrounded by meadows.

Pets are welcome. At our neighbour's farm nearby, you can see horses, goats, cows, chickens, dogs and cats.

The water comes from the farm's well, and hot water is produced using solar energy.

We live on the property, on the other side of the house, and are always available if you need advice or recommendations about activities, walks and places to discover in the area.

Practical information -
For groceries and everyday essentials, you will find everything you need in La Coquille or Châlus, two villages located approximately 7 km away, with local shops and supermarkets.

We also provide a few bicycles for our guests to use.

You are only a few hundred metres from the Camino de Santiago and right beside the future GR89 hiking trail, which will connect Lyon and Bordeaux.

From the farm, you can easily access the main roads and explore the beautiful Périgord and Dordogne regions.

During the high season, the minimum stay is indicated on the calendar.

Guest access -
The entire farm grounds are available to you, including a private terrace and garden.

Other things to note -

* €6 per pet, per stay

* Non-recyclable rubbish: please take it with you or leave €5. Recycling and glass remain on site.

* €5 per washing machine load

* Smoking is permitted only on the terrace, including e-cigarettes and other vaping devices.
