A great house with only a couple of suggested improvements
This community is amazing. There is something for everyone. This house, specifically, was great for our party of 10. The house is tucked back from the main thoroughfares, providing some additional privacy. The layout is thoughtful, with areas both inside and out for entertaining and enjoyment. The upstairs bunk room is perfect for kids to escape to their own space! The master suite and bathroom were spacious and beautiful. The only improvements I would make are not for the home itself, but the amenities provided. For a 4 day stay, there were 6 trash can liners, very little dish soap, 2-3 travel sized shampoos and hand soap dispensers that did not work. As a guest, these seem to be easy amenities to provide. The community is small and homey, and there are no reasonable places to buy these things. While the marina store has some necessities, they are overpriced. Also, the pantry room is locked, I assume for supplies, but for such a large house accommodating many guests, there is no where to keep the food. We enjoyed the community pools, Lake Days park, the marina and boat rentals, and of course, the fact that it was a golf cart community! We were able to bring our own golf cart on the trip, but there are carts available for rent as well. I’d highly recommend this; while getting around in a car is doable, the golf cart is so much easier!There is parking for about 3 vehicles on the property, something to keep in mind if there are a lot of families in the home.
