We loved this quaint property with its modern aesthetic and large windows for a bright atmosphere and great view! We found 2 local eateries we fell in love with and wished we had stayed more nights in Escalante during our trip across Utah.

Nice cabin only problem was it was a bit cold at night - we could have done with some more blankets - and heater /AC was noisy The outside area was a bit tatty. Reception girls were very helpful and friendly.

Dirty, cobweb infested room and greedy owners

To our shock the room was dirty and full of cobwebs and spider webs. The room looked like it had not been dusted in months. The surfaces were dirty and blackened our disinfectant wipes. There were dead bugs trapped inside window screens and we found a brown spider crawling around. The bed was very uncomfortable and felt like it had been extremely over used. We contacted manager about our complaints. The manager was very friendly and refunded us our first night of a 2 night stay. But after talking with the owners she said they were not able to give us a full refund even though we spent about 30 mins in the room and left after seeing the condition of it, which is extremely disappointing. If you cant keep a good standard for your guests and have them check in to a clean and sanitized room, how can you possibly gauge them for an extra night when we spent no time there as a result of your negligence? The whole experience was extremely disappointing and we ended up having to pack everything back up and pay for another hotel down the road for our stay in Escalante. Stay clear.

Perfect Getaway for our anniversary

Perfect location and a very welcoming and beautiful cabin. Wonderful for a 20th year anniversary couples getaway. We enjoyed our time and we were close to so many great hikes and restaurants.

Everything was AMAZING about this place. We got in after the oftice closed but our info for checking in was left on the office door. We booked the Big Dipper and it was beautiful, modern and clean! I’m picky and particular about accommodations away from home but I was so relieved to see this place was perfect.
