Everything you would want in a room was provided. The bed and small couch were very comfy. Cozy seating outside was so appreciated after day of exploring. The owner gladly provided instructions on how to make pour drip coffee! We can’t think of anything that would have made our stay more enjoyable.

First time in a long long time we had a well designed, executed and clean facility. We like to look at the dark skies using our long chairs. The back patio is small and to use the backyard was challenging because of seriously uneven grounds with stones, rocks to fall easily... Easy to fix. The waffles breakfast is a plus. Walking distance from all, art and music festival included. Thank you very much.

This was a fantastic experience for us. The attention to detail was amazing! We’ve travelled a lot in both Europe, Africa and the US. I can honestly say this is the best place we have ever stayed. If you go to Escalante, this is the only place to stay. Terry and Wendy are the best! We told them that they should start a consulting business to teach others how to do what they do.

I spent a very pleasant night in Escalante at this lodge. The lodge is small with parking in front of the room. I had the Single king room which was nicely furnished with lots of nice touches and perfect for my needs. The king size bed had a nice firm mattress but the pillows were kind of soft and didn’t provide a lot of support. The tv was a connected to an antenna so there was only a limited amount of channels and sometimes the reception was spotty. But since the purpose in visiting Escalante is to get out and enjoy all the wonderful hikes and drives available this was no problem. The room has a microwave, small fridge, and a coffee/tea area with fresh ground coffee available. It would have been nice to have a small office chair so I could set up my laptop on the desk. The bathroom has lots of towels and a nice shower. The room has a back door that leads to a seating area in the back with a nice view of the mountains. The front of the rooms has a firepit and a grill and a nice seating area as well. The lobby closes at 6pm but the owners are available by phone to text or call. They are wonderful hosts. I had the pleasure of talking to and getting to know Terry and Wendy when I had a waffle for breakfast. They do not offer a free breakfast but they do have a small restaurant that sells incredible Belgian waffles and wonderful fresh ground coffee. The next time I am in Escalante I will definitely stay here again.

Spacious, clean and quiet hotel. We really liked our unit that had a full kitchen, unique artwork and comfortable bedding. The host was extremely attentive and helpful! We will definitely stay here again when in the area. We also liked the back patio so we could watch the sunset. Additionally we could walk to restaurants in the area which was convenient!

Met the owner out in the yard working and he was very informative and helpful. If you read the letter that they send out check in is very very easy (of course I didn't read it all the way through). The resort is very impressive with all the comforts of home. Would stay again if in the area.

The owners treated us with respect for keeping their property safe and cared for. They provided little things like an 'ouch pouch' for cuts and stings. Fresh ground beans for coffee, tea packets, and had a wonderful walk-in shower.

After a week on the road staying in typical hotel rooms, it was lovely to find this oasis. Not only clean and well furnished-it had tons of special extras! Among them-a blanket, treats and poop bags for our dog, a drip coffee maker with fresh ground coffee, slippers, eye masks, individual snacks for a day out and about…the list goes on. We will definitely go back to Entrada!

The Entrada Escalante Lodge more than exceeded our expectations! The room was well furnished and filled with so many personal touches! Truly one of the best places we have ever stayed. Our breakfast at Waffles & Wildflowers restaurant attached to the property was an added bonus and delicious! Thank you for such an amazing stay! Wished it could have been longer!

Entrada Escalante should have a 4 star rating. The property is updated with a nice kitchenette, comfortable bed and great view. Rocking chairs on patio if the weather is good. The staff is very responsive but there is everything you would need including brown towels for dirty clean up. There is also a laundry to use!
