When I come to North County San Diego it’s the location. Surrounded by restaurants & shops it’s ideal. Just so happens my friends whom I come to visit, live in the area. And, the beach is just over your shoulder. It’s super clean & for the most part, quiet. I won’t hesitate to recommend it.

Walking distance to a bus stop for bus 101 that gets you to the Coaster in minutes. Clean, nice, cozy and the staff is helpful. Surrounded by bars, breweries, restaurants, and smallmarkets.

Once again a great stay!

We love this place! Always welcoming when we check in. Always clean. Perfect location, safe, and quiet. If there’s one thing I would have to suggest would be to upgrade the mattresses. They are worn out. This is the second room with them. I think it’s time. Otherwise this little gem is perfect!

My family of four stayed here for two nights. We have been here several times in the past and always love it. The rooms are cozy, the kitchenette is convenient, the hotel has a unique style, and the staff are always helpful.

I enjoyed my overnight stay. My room was very clean, which is extremely important to me. The staff was very helpful, which is a big plus. AND, the facility was conveniently located for my visit to the San Diego Botanical Gardens. When I next visit Leucadia/Encinitas, I plan to stay here again.

This inn has character and is in a great location. The kitchenette is very handy. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We have appreciated a luggage stand in the room. The tile floors are a little damp from the salt air, so we would have liked maybe a small rug or two for the feet. Staff are friendly. We would stay here again.

I loved this hotel! It was like a studio apartment, had everything we needed, and very clean. Very friendly staff. Located close to the beach and so many stores and food options within walking distance.

Very sweet little hotel. Love that every room has a kitchenette. Very clean and comfy. There is a train that passes nearby on a regular basis but it wasn’t bothersome. Had everything I needed to be comfortable. Great places to eat and a market within a couple of blocks. Beach access is about a pleasant walk about quarter mile north or south from the end of that road.

We discovered this cute 20’s motor in 5 years ago. On 101 CA coast Highway in funky old surfin’ SO CA. Stay 2-3 times a year. Great rates. 10 minute walk to overlook of ocean. I5 minute drive to spectacular Moonxlight Beach. Great dining 5 minute walk, 5 minute drive. If you don’t need big long, concierge, on site restaurant and bar, swimming pool, and gym this is the spot. Manager Mark is great.
