"Overall an excellent stay, but there were some minor details that had an outsized effect on our stay. In the description it says a maximum of 2 dogs are allowed, which was all we needed, but when we arrived we were informed that our dogs were not allowed to be in the bedrooms. For most dogs this is okay, but we have a couple of super high strung pups and if we drove 3 hours to then sleep in a room they were closed off from they would have come unglued. So we slept in the hide-a-bed in the living room, which wasn't ideal for us older, stiffer adults. Had we known about that rule we might have made a different decision. The only other thing was that the wifi was out due to something blocking the dish. The owner's response to this was "oh well...you're on vacation", which was a little irksome but not a big deal.That being said, the house was lovely as was the town. It's a beautiful property with horses in the neighboring land and deer frequently wandering by for a snack (which also made our dogs come unglued). We might come back, but it might have to wait until our current pups have gone on."
