I feel like they are very racist normally when u come out to leave or come in the concierge greets you we never got that they looked at us like we were from a different planet i love comfort suite but definitely not the one in Matton illinois they are very racists and they show it i definitely felt uncomfortable and i left a day earlier

Best value in Mattoon

The staff is really nice. Helpful and accommodating. The morning food service is a nourishing hot breakfast self service, better than most in the area. But it's off the beat'n track at the end of the frontage road. Steak'nShake is next door, plenty of other new franchise eats across Hwy 16 (one light) like Cracker Barrel, Chic-fil-A, McDonalds, Freddy's. Visit annually for over 10 years, prefer the extra space like rm. 231, less noise from ice machine on 3rd floor same room but right above the breakfast and side door stairs, highly convenient and comforable.

The hotel staff was great (friendly, helpful, patient), the rooms (I stayed here twice on a round trip) were immaculate and the hotel is convenient to the highway, a Steak-n-Shake (next door) and an Aldi (across the street). I highly recommend this Comfort Inn!
