Room was nice, but not even remotely handicapped accessable like i booked, i asked the clerk if she gave us the wrong room and her reply was "all the rooms are the same". Couldnt even give my 82 year old mother a shower bc of the huge bathtub that was in the bathroom!

I was so impressed and pleased with my stay at Clarion Pointe Mattoon. From our check in until our departure, the staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was so clean and updated. We stayed 2 nights and it was a very peaceful experience. We have stayed down the road at the pricier hotel and this stay was comparable to it, only the price was better! If I had to have something to mention, the exhaust fan in the bathroom does not have its own control.

Room was clean, nicely updated and furnished. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the neighbors above were really noisy but that’s not the fault of the hotel. We’ll definitely be staying there again while our daughter attends college nearby.

Worth the stop

Parking was easy. Rooms appear to be renovated. Bed was comfortable! Really loud at night and early morning with kids slamming doors but overall would stay here again and again! Staff was friendly as always!
