The hotel is well located and walkable to Edinburgh sights and restaurants. The apartment-style setup was convenient for making simple meals, relaxing after a day of sight-seeing and doing laundry, which added a lot of flexibility. There were some initial security concerns but the staff addressed them promptly and professionally, which I appreciated. While there’s no turndown service, the front desk is always staffed and helpful if you need essentials. Overall, a decent option for your visit to Edinburgh.

Big room, amazing location near Dean's village and easy to get to the Castle. My only complaint is that the bathroom is not so friendly. There is no room to put my stuff. The kitchen is ok but you can't cook anything. Overall, I like it but probably won't stay again.

Centrally Located.

The location was amazing. I was hoping the room was a fully blackout room, however it was not, there was light that was able to get into the room which made it hard for me to sleep. The location was great and it was very easy to get around. I would recommend this location.

Pleasant surprise. Large unit with washer and dryer. Good location to walk Edinburgh. Would definitely stay here again. Only slight downside was the offsite parking but we managed. Be sure to download the parking app before parking.

We booked last minute as our poorly dog had been referred to the Edinburgh vet hospital. We just needed a bed for the night and to save us a long morning drive. The hotel is advertised as dog friendly on Expedia but NOT dog friendly on their own website. We called the hotel and as no one was on reception, got out through to the London hotel who told us Edinburgh was not dog friendly. I had to speak to Expedia customer support (I wanted to cancel and book dog friendly) who told me it was dog friendly, I explained my conversation with the employee and the chains own website so they got through to someone and it was confirmed dog friendly. This is all around 6/7pm on the night we had a 3 hour drive to get there. This held up our departure to actually go to the hotel. Then, on arrival, with our poor scared dog and her crate etc, the front door was locked, no buzzer, just a mobile phone number that you couldn’t call, only WhatsApp. It’s now 11pm because of our delay in leaving and we’re now trapped outside. By chance, guests returned and we got in. There was actually a staff member a couple of meters from reception/ but they were behind a pillar not looking out, not visible. The whole experience was awful. Just skip this place and stay at the other end of the town at the new ‘the resident’ apart-hotel. Absolute chalk and cheese in terms of service, it’s a beautiful new place and was a much better experience.

This hotel is conveniently located close to the center of Edinburgh. I initially had trouble sleeping at night due to traffic noise from outside, but the staff were very helpful and kindly moved me to a room on a lower floor the very next day. I would recommend the management consider adding soundproofing to the upper floor rooms for a more comfortable stay.

We booked an Aparthotel primary due to the cooking facilities available in the room. Unfortunately, after arriving, it was confirmed that the stove/hob advertised in the listing had been removed. This scuppered our dinner plans and increased the overall cost of our stay in Edinburgh massively as we then had to eat out for each meal. Being autistic, this unexpected change and the need to locate suitable alternative venues to eat in resulted in a lot of additional stress. We haven’t been offered any kind of reimbursement by Aparthotel. I’m very disappointed.
