Property is nice, great location. Staff was superb. Only negatives were that the room had very low lighting, and getting to our room requred many stairs getting to the elevator, we had a lot of luggage. Can't say enough about the staff, they were great

We loved the location, 5 minutes from Princes Street! Also the hotel was beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious and the facilities great. If you don’t need housekeeping, you get a voucher for a free drink! The staff are friendly and helpful and always greeted us with a smile! We didn’t use the restaurant as we ate out, but the bar was welcoming and cosy. We would definitely stay again!

Staff very friendly and professional. Room was clean and a good size. Liked the option of a drinks voucher in exchange for not cleaning room everyday of visit. Because of age of building there were stairs to negotiate between floors which might be an issue for some people. Loved our stay here.

Luxury honeymoon stay

We had an absolutely amazing stay. We told the hotel that we had booked for our honeymoon. We arrived and they upgraded us to a suite on the top floor with free prosecco in the bar. The room was huge with an amazing bathroom and a bath in the bedroom. Great selection of tea/coffee/biscuits/fererro rocher too. We liked the option of being eco and skipping cleaning the room during our stay and earning a free drinks voucher. Cocktails in the bar were delicious and the decoration gave the bar a cool vibe. Breakfast was fantastic. Great range and top quality ingredients. The hotel was perfectly located to enjoy all aspects of the city on foot and the tram stop from the airport is right outside too. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. We will definitely be back to more Malmaison hotels.

Booked a one night stay for a trip. Easy and quick check-in with staff who explained layout of the hotel. There are 2 lifts , one for odd and one for every en floors. They are not busy and very quick. Really convenient for the New Town, and the tram line. the hotel was great, interesting decor. Our room was huge, and our only wish was or more storage; there was ample room for a chest of drawers and even a sofa, which would have made it more comfortable. We dined in the brasserie one night; the food was delicious and we were served by Neisha, who was so efficient and cheerful, she really enhanced our experience. Would stay again. Thank you.
