I think the only thing was the walls are really thin - so you will likely hear your neighbor. But the location was great and the breakfast was good.

That the window had been lodged open from the outside we were in a basement room overlooking the street level above, the window had been lodged open with an empty beer bottle and we had no idea on returning to thd room later that night as there is a single glass sliding window within the frame and we were cold and put it down to the location. In the morning we opened the curtains to find the reason was as explained we were ipset as this made us unsecured in our room. Reported to Natalie who said she would check on that for us but we were leaving then.

Excellent short break

Super location, got off the tram from the airport outside the hotel. Central to everything Edinburgh. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfast was busy but we were warned by hotel of when the busiest time was if we wanted to avoid it, but the food was good and plentiful with a wide choice. I would definitely stay here again.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable very hard and the sofa bed was so loud squeaking everytime my son moved in it, this is a shame that this spoiled our stay with lack of sleep as the rest of the hotel was really good.

A good place to stay

The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that our room was right next to a fire door, and on one morning the door banged continually with people going to and from breakfast. Other mornings it was open, so no problem.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is excellent. Breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of options. Room was adequate, carpet and shower need upgraded. Family room was quite small for 3 guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.
