The location of the hotel was great! It’s located minutes from the train hub. Easily accessible and check in check out process was easy. Staff was exceptionally friendly. The room was beautiful, clean, and better than expected. The spa was definitely a plus, though a bit small but great for relaxing at the end of the day. Overlay we had a great time!

Excellent walkable location. Staff was very helpful and it was 5 min walk from the train station. Rooms were a nice size and very clean. Nice to have sauna and spa on site.

This hotel was a great location to base our day trips in and around Edinburgh. We had a lovely dinner there as well. Extremely convenient to the train station and everyone was very friendly.

Very disappointing.

Room overlooked dozens of garbage bins (picked up very early in the morning). This area doubled as the smoking and chatting area for restaurant staff late at night. Mattress was clearly old and lumpy. Throw blanket was stained. Spa was fine but no hot tub/Jacuzzi and robes had to be rented for a fee. You even need a pound coin to use the spa lockers. Overall more like a 2 star hotel and nowhere near worth the price. Location was at least good.

Nice sized room and bath, all in good condition. Bed was firm. Restaurant food was good- a convenient option, but there's better values within walking distance. Only complaint is that the coffee is horrible. However, we'd stay here again.
