Hotel doesn’t advertise parking is very little and first come first serve. Also on the booking app it has check in for 2:30 and on the day we were told it is anytime between 2:30 and 3 - we weren’t given keys until 3 which made us late for other bookings. You can hear everything even in your room whether that be someone walking outside the door, the people next to your room or even people in the floor above you walking. Wouldn’t say the additional price for castle view room is justified either. Won’t recommend to anyone and will not be back.

Convenient hotel close to all the city has to offer. Clean and tidy rooms, a little on the small side. Great breakfast option, although would have liked to pay less as I only eat continental breakfast it’s one price £18 pp (kids half price) incl hot. Comfy beds, gorgeous view of the castle!

The view from my window (not a balcony) was lovely, but I also heard very drunk person talking across the street at the pubs until at least 0300...for me, it was NOT worth the extra fee, even remotely. The staff were not friendly, but did help me when I specifically asked for something. The room was functional but in need of repairs and a better clean. I didn’t have an unpleasant stay, but I certainly will not be staying there again.

Generally this hotel was fine and its location was excellent. I found it to be a tad run down. The floor boards creaked so loudly in my hallway and inside my room. My bathroom ceiling was stained with mold and everything seemed very old/used. I ordered a premium room with castle view but it wasn’t up to my expectations. I did have breakfast once and it was very good. The staff were excellent. I would book elsewhere for my next stay.
