"Check in did not go well: Staff told me there was no record of me several times. He said Hilton owns Hampton 2x and I am probably supposed to be there. I Found my confirmation number he asked it is started with a 5 and seemed shocked it did. He then said he found it and complained it was listed as Kate H. and how was he supposed to find reservations with that. He seemed shocked to see I had paid in full too, probably because he was shocked I wasn't reserved at Hampton?? Asked about how the whirpool jets get cleaned and was told they follow cleaning protocol and that he gets upset with that question since it implies the staff does not clean well. He asked how many keys I said 1. He then said I was in the "Honeymoon Suite". I said I figured I just wanted the whirlpool. Told him that did not go well and hurt my feelings. He started more rambling complaints about Expedia and he was still talking at me complaining about how my reservation looked on his end, after I had rounded the corner and was waiting for the elevator. Check out- another staff also very upset that Expedia sent my reservation with only "Kate H" and then she bashed Expedia and told me I need to join Hilton Honors. I said I am with Hilton Honors, but Expedia beat the price. Then asked if I could leave after hearing her Expedia complaints and how I need those Hilton' points.?!? Customers don't want to hear all the staffs complaints about Expedia?!? I have had zero issues with Expedia."
