Dirty and dingy floors. Sheets and pillow cases obviously not washed thoroughly. Towels have that gym smell. Definitely not a premier La Quinta. I seem to get burned by their inflated reviews too often. And what’s up with no continuous fan on the AC? And barely Luke warm water. I see why it’s dead here.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean, chairs need to be checked regularly ( due to wheels falling off. Had I known that the pool and hot tub were not working, I would have cancelled my reservation and found somewhere else to stay. (Especially for the price I paid) We were visiting our grandchildren and we only see them once a year, and they were looking forward to going swimming. There are plenty of places close to to the property to eat that are very good and have great reviews.

Disappointed at the lack of quality maintenance

Shocked at the weeds everywhere in front of the building near the front door. Pool and hot tub was out of order. Room was very humidy and mold around tub. toilet flush handle was broken. Beginning to show its age, it was such a nice place a few years back.

First off, Melanie (desk person) was very nice and sweet. She changed my original reservation from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor since my husband had just had surgery and could walk that far. She assigned us a room close to the door. The room was spacious, very clean. I could not have asked for a better experience.

This hotel needs some upgrades

The staff was very friendly and I had no issue with them at all. They even offered to refund my money when I saw the condition of the room. There was black mold everywhere. There was a sticky substance all over the shower like it had not been cleaned. It was bad, but they refunded my money and I went to stay in a different town about 60 miles away.

Nice staff, nice place to rest, even if tech old.

We needed a place on the way from New Mexico to Houston and I flipped back and forth on cheaper options, but went with La Quninta (and paid a little premium) to remove any gotchas going with a cheaper place. I was disappointed to find the pool closed indefinitely. The TVs are also HD, but running on a cable connection, so no HD, and not smart. A bit picky, i know, but would expect a La Quinta to not have their TVs stuck in 2010.

Once the place to stay, No longer in Eastland

This hotel had just declined over the last 10 years. The property is just not be maintained. The elevator was out, the toilet was clogged in our room, mold in our shower in the corners and grout, the fridge cabinet and drawers would not close properly, just worn.
