Such a cool place to stay! They aren’t kidding when they say it’s cliffside. The views were beautiful, and there were lots of places to relax, especially the cozy sunroom. The walk down to the water was fun, and we loved watching the wildlife- deer literally would come right up to the windows, and we even saw foxes on the hillside. For an older house in the middle of the woods it was surprisingly clean and overall it very well maintained, and the bed was comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again if I wanted a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home for our anniversary weekend! The house itself is stunning, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable getaway. But the real highlight has to be the mountain views—they are truly spectacular and unforgettable to wake up to. The host was fantastic and attentive, ensuring we had a perfect stay. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special weekend, and we would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a perfect mountain retreat. We will definitely be back!

We booked this home looking for a quiet get away where we could relax and enjoy family time and this was the perfect home to do so. The views are amazing, we loved the water and sounds of nature, even had a deer come right up to the front door. I find myself picky about cleanliness when staying places, this home exceeded all expectations and was extremely clean and well maintained. The check in and check out process was smooth and communication was quick whenever we messaged or had a question. This home is fairly secluded (as mentioned in the description), so we bought all our food and drinks before arriving as the closest grocery store is about 15-20 minutes away. If looking for something to do in the area — we did the animal and snake farm, Bushkill falls and even went horseback riding at Mountain Creek riding stable - all recommend! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved the scenery and amazing views of the property. We particularly enjoyed being on top of a mountain, and being surrounded by trees, and nature while creating new memories. It was a very relaxing and recharging experience. The cabin was located close to Shawnee ski mountain, which was a big plus for us. We are so happy we chose this cabin for our most recent adventure! We look forward to coming back in the near future!

Property was everything we hoped it would be. The views were amazing and the space felt very comfortable. The only thing that negatively impacted our stay was there were 10s to 100s of dead ladybugs in all of the window sills and doorways. That was gross but even considered I’d stay there again. Hopefully less ladybugs.

2/10 Terrible

No le gustó: Check-in, comunicación, veracidad del anuncio
Most of my problem was the people who are in charge of renting the house. We weren’t given the address until almost 1PM which meant we arrived late only to find mud all over the front porch seeping into the house. The realtor said they would send someone over to clean it up which never happened. After we clean it up ourselves it was 10PM before we were able to eat dinner. The house was clean except for the living room couch which looked very dirty so we never sat on it for the whole week. There are NO closets except for the bedroom in the basement so since they are small bedrooms we had nowhere to put our clothes. The realtor gave us a hard time about all of the information she had to have because of “the HOA” there is definitely not an HOA for this neighborhood which they could have figured out if they had just gone there to see it for themselves. We will never use Wander Home listings again

Had a fantastic time on a weekend getaway. Beautiful scenic property with fresh air, a starry night sky with a heavenly creek below. The view overlooking the mountain trees is beautiful with the sound of the melodic stream running below. House was very comfortable with amenities and supplies, though the beauty of the outdoors was so breathtaking we found we didnt much need many of the provisions (games, books, tv). Would love to visit again.
