We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great and was very comfortable for our group. The unit is a little worn(it could use some upgrades)but overall very comfortable. Sadly, the pool was a little disappointing because it seemed like the filtration system wasn't working very well. We didn't really use it because it wasn't very tempting. Overall, the size and layout were perfect. The ability to bring our dogs and the proximity to the beach made our stay a good one.

This was a great option for myself and 4 other girlfriends to stay. Great location -it was no more than 5-10 minutes to any local spots. Pet friendly and great communication from the owner. My only concern was the one shower for 5 women, but we did make it work overall a great stay !

Great location and nice host

The location of the house was nice for the activities we had planned and the host was very communicative. The host has two dogs, one of which barked quite a bit, but it didn’t really bother us much and they were friendly.

Cute bohemian tree casa

Clean, nicely decorated, and conveniently located. Very safe neighborhood, near many places to walk such as restaurants, convenient stores etc. The casa had many extras such as coffee, spices, toiletries, and towels/bathroom items were stocked up. The outdoor area was beautiful with wisteria, flowers, and a cute walkway. Would definitely stay again! Thank you so much!!

A Hidden Gem

I went with friends for a Girls' Weekend, and we booked Tim's place for our stay. It's tucked away, off of the beaten path, but very close to the downtown Durango area, including the train station (w were there to ride the Blues Train). The property is quiet and safe, and was perfect for our needs. Tim, the owner and host, lives above the property, and made himself to us if we had any questions or concerns, but other than that we never saw or heard him. There's a lovely backyard to sit in and relax, and he has 2 adorable French bulldogs who will come to meet you and introduce themselves. The apartment itself is very cozy and homey, and had everything we needed. The only "negative" I would have, is that there is only 1 full bathroom, so if you have a large group, you might want to keep that in mind. There's a 2nd half-bath/powder room, but only 1 tub/shower. It wasn't a problem for us as we only had 3 people and no real deadlines to be up, ready, and out the door, but with a larger group it would take some coordination. That said, the shower was great! Nice pressure and plenty of hot water! We had a nice stay. Thanks, Tim!

Family reunion/ memorial

I enjoyed my stay at the Bohemian Tree Casa. There was ample space for myself and my daughter and son-in-law plus my dog. The kitchen was well-equipped, bedrooms were clean, smartly decorated, and comfortable and the patio and yard were beautiful and relaxing. The house was situated perfectly for our needs. The house was perfectly situated minutes from fort Lewis College soccer fields. The neighborhood was quiet and the owner was very friendly. If you are looking for a home away from home this is your place.

Place is very comfy, great yard for our dog and the french bulldogs are very friendly. Wish we could of stayed but we left early due to sewer problem that was beyond Timothy's control. We would like to return to this property in the future and he did refund us a portion of our bill.

We enjoyed our 4 nite stay. Great neighborhood. The owner was very helpful and accommodating to our needs. We walked our dog every morning to this very cute coffee shop that had homemade goods and plants. Liquor store & gas station around the corner as well. Small drive to memorial park and downtown. My husband rode his motorcycle and was able to park it inside the gate, which made him happy as he’s picky about where he parks it. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had alot of supplies. Thanks Tim for a great stay!!!

There are some oddities about this VRBO......the lighting is odd, and in the second bedroom, the window opens into the host's vestibule. No air flow in the second bedroom. The only shower is in the master, so it might be uncomfortable for two couples. The apartment was clean, but smelled of smoke......tobacco? Or the wood-burning stove? It was stuffy. I think it might be better in the winter. I also had to prompt the host for the directions to enter the apartment.
