The hotel was very clean and modern. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The reason for 4 stars versus 5, is the breakfast had much to be desired. Not what we are used to from other Hilton properties.

Clean, new and not great

We checked in but the room had not been cleaned. Moved to another room. The bed and pillows were not comfy, but that personal.the AC unit put out smoke at 5;46am and set off our smoke alarm. Unplugged unit, went back to sleep. The shower dial was messed up and I only got scalding hot water, although my husband figured it out, somehow. The sofa and desk chair were the lowest quality and uncomfortable. The free breakfast was pretty much the minimum stuff. There’s road noise from the Hwy at night That said, the place was very clean and the staff really nice and helpful

We liked the room location. The cart for transporting items between car and room was small and inadequate. Staff was friendly enough. The room was freezing when we arrived and I had to run the heater for a little while (August 1!). Biggest complaint: After driving 550 miles, and at 11:30 pm I had to stand in line for 10 minutes to find out I could not get WiFi without taking even more time to fill out a form giving Hilton personal information that I did not want to give them. I feel strongly that this is an unwarranted intrusion but my wife had to have WiFi so I had little choice. Also, the strong wind outside whistled through the windows like something out of an old, campy horror movie so badly that I had to run the AC/Heat fan all night in order to sleep. Hilton can't do anything about the weather but they can do something about the windows. I'll get over the cart and the windows. The WiFi sticks in my craw and probably will for a long time. I will remember this when we stay in Dumas next year.

Nice stay

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We did use the hot tub and myself and my son got a rash. I think there was too much chlorine. Other than that no complaints. I would stay here again.
