You can’t beat this location! Right in the heart of Dublin city, within walking distance to all the tourist attractions. The staff is friendly, the rooms are super clean, a hairdryer is provided along with a safe, a refrigerator, and even a large fan. The room is a tight fit, but no worse than anything you’d find in New York City. It’s warm, dry, good shower, clean bed. I’ve stayed here twice now and would definitely stay again.

So, be aware that the Temple Bar area of Dublin is busy, crowded, and noisy. Many find that attractive. This hotel is convenient for downtown Dublin attractions, has nice breakfasts, attentive staff, and our room (deluxe double) was a bit dated, but comfortable enough. The entrance is a little strange, as you have to go down a floor to reception, but that's no big deal. So far, so good, but this hotel has one major problem: noise. It's directly opposite the Hard Rock Cafe, and another bar which plays live music at loud levels directly onto the street. The Hard Rock actually has external street speakers. The noise level is extremely intrusive right into the early hours. The hotel provides earplugs, which don't do the job. I travel with a white noise generator, which just about allowed us some sleep. If you have a room at the rear of the hotel, you're shielded from the problem. At the front...boy, are you out of luck. I've stayed in many hotels around the world, and regularly stay in NYC. This hotel room was the noisiest I've ever stayed in, and because of that, I wouldn't stay there again. If you insist on a room at the rear, you may be just fine, but the front? Well, never again for us.

So, it's in Temple Bar, probably the busiest and noisiest part of Dublin, so bear that in mind. It's a nice enough hotel, good breakfast, helpful staff, slightly strange entrance and exit where you go down a floor to reception. The room, (deluxe double) was fine. The big problem? Noise. We were on the fourth floor at the front of the property, which sits opposite the Hard Rock Cafe and another bar featuring very loud live music. The Hard Rock has outside speakers. The other bar opens up its frontage. The music plays into the early hours, and it's very intrusive. I always travel with a white noise machine, so I coped. The hotel provides earplugs, which really aren't enough. If you are situated at the back of the hotel, you're good. Anywhere at the front, and you're out of luck. I've stayed in hotels all over the world, and stay regularly in NYC. The noise issue is definitely the worst I've encountered. It's a shame, but I won't stay here again.

The hotel stay was for two nights for my son and I to have a look round Dublin. Really good location, able to walk most places with little effort. Hotel was clean enough, staff were really friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfasts were a little over cooked but plentiful, reasonable choice of continental and full Irish! Even though we were in Temple Bar, room was quiet, would have preferred working air con, and the correct toilet seat for the toilet but…… overall is was a good stay at a good price that really hit the mark for us. Security, reception, waiting on staff all really good. Nice design and easy layout.

This property is absolutely beautiful, clean and located in a very busy area of the city (Temple Bar). So yes there was definitely nighttime noise from party people and then morning noise from street cleaners, but it was such a fantastic location ffor walking to everything, and getting home quickly. Food was very good, and staff was wonderful.

Fabulous central location in Temple Bar. Comfortable beds. Lovely bar area. The rooms overlooking the street are noisy but couldn’t expect anything else being so close to the bars and restaurants.

Awesome location

Location location location! I have to admit, we drove to the hotel and had an issue gwtting there because Fleet street is supposed to be undrivable before 7pm, but we made it to the car park. We stayed on a Friday night and our room faced Fleet street. It was noisy but awesome with all the hussle and bussel of all the people who were out, enjoying the pubs. We opened our windows and could hear the horse drawn carriages go by and the music and singing from the local pubs. The breakfast was really good. Our room was a little small, but it was vwry comfortable for us two. They offer ear plugs in the room if it is too noisy. We slept with our window open all night. I would stay here again, but use a car service to get there.

This hotel has no AC. Just open windows, with no screens and fans. At least provide a Dyson that can give some cool settings. It’s was so hot and sweaty and difficult to sleep. Especially since the open windows lend to hearing every click of the casino right below the back of the hotel. If you’re looking for quiet and cool. This is not the place for you.

Everything about the hotel was great. Marred only by the noise outside through the night. Amplified singing until 11:30pm. Thereafter loud singing and shouting from the street heard all night including 4am, heard from 3 storeys up. Temple Bar area too loud for sleep.
