The reviews prepared us for bedbugs and lice but we only found 1 bedbug. The breakfast selection looked like they got the food from the local food bank. I think the hard boiled egg was the same one during our entire stay. We got charged for a pet fee as expected but the front desk clerk warned us to not let her go into the other rooms because they “clean” the room after we check out. Makes me wonder what type of cleaning for rooms without pets? For the price of the room I would have gone to Ramada Inn.

Friendly staff. Location was central and ideal. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the Air Conditioning was very noisy and hard to sleep. A blood stain was found on the pillow case and the heat lamp in the bathroom did not work as it was not even centred correctly in the light socket.

Fine for a night

Small rooms but it has everything you need. Fine for a roof over the head but personally if I was staying longer than one night I’d choose to stay elsewhere. One of our two rooms was dusty but the other was fine.

Although the property is in the prime spot for downtown, it lacked service & personality. We had power issues (the power blocks were turned off, fridge, coffee maker, microwave & tv) but we figured it out (by crawling under & around furniture). As well as the air conditioner was off & we had to figure that out & how it worked. When mentioned (nicely) to the front desk, we were told that it wasnt that big of an issue. The room was very dated. The walls were peeling & the flooring was taped. Highly disappointing.

There was an old man sitting in our room when we opened the door (thankfully I wasn’t by myself). His key card worked on two rooms, so that’s not ideal. And ours does not lock properly.

Price worthy location, the room was neat. The breakfast is super appreciated specially since early mornings are a must to visit places around. The lady who welcomed us was very sweet, friendly and helpful. Grateful for this practical, no bs, good location to stay.
