About Bredannaz ...

This village set on the western shore of Lake Annecy deserves its name of "Pearl of the Lake".
Adjoining Duingt and Doussard, the hamlet of Bredannaz extends from the lake to the mountains. The cycle path connecting Annecy to Ugine crosses the village and allows easy cycling between the villages along the lake. It also allows a complete tour of Lake Annecy.
Many activities are practiced nearby: water sports in summer (Wake Board, water skiing, Kayaking, hiking...); nearby outdoor activities in winter (snowshoe hiking at Semnoz (20 mins), alpine skiing at Les Saisies (40 mins) or in the 3 Valleys ski resorts (about 1 hour))...
Several shops are located in Duingt, a few hundred metres away and accessible by the cycle path: the "best baker on the lake shores", a tobacco-press shop, a supermarket open 7/7 (SPAR), very good restaurants in particular.

L’appartement est confortable et bien équipé. Les grandes baies vitrées amènent beaucoup de luminosité et d’espace. La vue grand angle sur le Lac depuis le balcon est un atout majeur.

Perfect location with a breathtaking view

The appartment provides a breathtaking view across the lake, offers a balkonee with barbecue, which we enjoyed several times. In addition though, we found it also very conveniently located: two minutes from the bicycle path all the way to Annecy old town, 10 minutes by bike from Spar and bakery in Duingt (wonderful ride in the mornings to get fresh baguette), 5 minutes from boat rental and a restaurant in walking distance. The bicycle path to Annecy is about 15km and is easily mastered by children as well (ours were 7 and 10 and did not complain once... thanks to also some ice cream stops along the lake). For evenings we recommend to always make reservations at restaurants, and dont forget to bring your masks. They are not needed if you sit outside, but are mandatory inside. They were not mandatory in shops during our visit. All in all we enjoyed our first stay at Lac d‘Annecy a lot and will certainly return.
