Best hotel in Flat Rock Michigan.

The entire hotel staff is excellent. From checking in to checking out 5 days later and everything in between was astounding and awesome. All staff members deserves a raise. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that i know. The breakfast was great and coffee was awesome.

Really disappointed! Was offered a refund but needed a hotel room and refund would not be available for up to 10 days, I didn't have a couple hundred extra to just buy another hotel room, so I ended up staying and paying for the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. There were ants everywhere in the room, had to buy any spray and use several times, and there were still ants to the point of them still crawling on sheets and pillow cases. Went to breakfast at 6a on a Friday morning to "beat the rush"... breakfast starts at 6a but some construction workers came early and literally wiped out all of the eggs and sausage, which we found out was the only hot option every day, except for make your own waffle. The breakfast area was the smallest I've ever seen, had to wait outside the breakfast area for others to finish making there plate before coming into breakfast area. Also it seems that items were set out and whenever they were gone they were gone. And the pool area was very run down, I had been waiting to get in the hot tub, but the hot tub and pool are connected and kids were jumping back and forth, splashing me with cold water, also knocking into me. Parents not even watching there kids! Very disappointed since the hotel has "no bathtubs in any of the rooms". I wanted some kind of hot soak for my arthritis, it didn't happen. Also just very run down, part of shower floor was patched with beige duct tape. Spray painted plywood used as paneling for duct work. I'm very disappointed

I asked if my rooms could be conjoined or by each other. I was told “absolutely!” Then come to check in my rooms are not conjoined or by each other. The front desk worker was very friendly and apologized and said she could see where I was told that but she couldn’t do anything about it besides canceling my reservation. One of our room is very outdated and small (though the other is nice and bigger but they were supposed to be the same room type). The hallway is loud. Not horrible if you just want a night away with a pool. But not the best either.

If you have nowhere to stay tben this will do other than that id avoid it. I had 2 room that were conjoining. Went into one an it was ok. Went into the 2nd an i walked in on a famy having dinner. Both rooms had holes in the walls. Teenagers running everywhere an sounded like they were coming through the ceiling.i wont stay here ever again.

judgemental unreasonable staff I don’t steal

Booked online. Paid for. Got there they immediately said I wasn’t allowed there. I asked if it was because i refunded last room and left due to everything in the room being busted..they said nope the last time before that. I asked what about it ? Apparently I stole linen I’ve stayed at this hotel plenty of times I have never stole a thing. At this hotel or at any point in my life. Not my style. If a towel or something silly got mixed in with my laundry I apologize but I was willing to pay for it they refused to give that option they treated me like I destroyed the room. My 4 year old son and myself are the only ones that were ever there. I just lost my home & this was the cheapest option in the area. I don’t even have a place to take whatever they think I stole. This was very disappointing. Honestly made me sad I was viewed and treated as such. I’ve never given these people any issues we stay quiet. Also confusing when they were allowing me to stay before this last reservation..makes me feel like it’s due to the refund
