The hall carpet is dated & looked like it needed replacing or a good shampoo. Room was ok, tidy but neglected, curtains hanging down. The bathroom was functional, although I prefer a walk in shower, but the surfaces were tatty with bits falling off. The soap dispensers are difficult to use for anyone with reduced manual dexterity.

The room was pleasant and bed comfortable but sadly had a leak in the ceiling so had to move to a different room......helped by supportive staff. Some of the furnishings were a bit worn/broken (eg bath plug...waste bin....) so some housekeeping would be beneficial

I do object to to paying over £7 for one instant coffee and two slices of toast. As someone who eats only small meals, I find the blanket pricing unfair. The accommodation is basic but adequate. The situation ideal.

Breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly. Parking was easy and despite being next to a road it was quiet in the room. The hotel building is in need of a bit of a refurb but the restaurant building was quite nice. Unfortunately the room could have been cleaner, the bed wasn't made properly and there was a lot of hair in the bath plug which was really horrible.

Room was good but everything looks a bit tired now, but then we have been coming here for a few years now. The bathrooms although functional could do with having new showers, but then the price is always very good so i suppose you get what you oay for. The staff are ALWAYS lovely, so 5* to them.
