Charming house with enclosed garden near the Louet river

Near the Louet River, in the charming hamlet of Mantelon, this house with blue shutters will delight you with its peaceful, verdant setting.

This old house, with its terracotta tiles and exposed beams, features a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and a living room with a television and a working fireplace, promising cozy winter evenings. A toilet and washing machine are also located on the ground floor.

Upstairs, you'll find the bedroom with a 160x200cm double bed and direct access to the outside. On the upper floor, a bright mezzanine leads to the shower and bathroom with a toilet. A unique feature of this cottage is that the shower opens directly onto the mezzanine, and the bathroom with a sink and toilet is located just opposite (see photos).

The mezzanine can accommodate two additional people, but it does not have blackout blinds to completely darken the room.

Outside, the fully enclosed garden (with low walls) is perfect for relaxation (parasol, garden furniture, electric griddle, deck chairs).

For your comfort, the beds are made upon arrival and towels are provided. Lighten your load and fully enjoy your stay in this cottage!

The GR3 long-distance hiking trail runs right next to the cottage, following the Loire River from its source to its estuary, offering a diverse landscape: vineyards, floodplains, forests, riverboat villages, troglodyte dwellings... Nature and heritage enthusiasts will be delighted. The island of Béhuard is a 10-minute drive and a 1 hour 15 minute walk away.

The cottage is 15 minutes from the A87 motorway and 25 minutes from Angers and the Terra Botanica botanical garden. You can park your vehicle right in front of the cottage, near the gate.

Just 5 minutes from the cottage, take the Loire Valley wine route and the Anjou Corniche to admire breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Loire and Louet valleys. Don't forget to stop at a winery to taste some local wines. You can also enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants in Chalonnes-sur-Loire or spend an evening at a riverside café.

End-of-stay cleaning is not included in the rental price: an optional extra is available for €80. This is a non-smoking property.
