Surfside Shangri-La

Wonderful 3 bedroom 2 bath with big shower and tub, plenty of storage and everything you need to have a great vacation with a outdoor patio for some family fun. Located across the street from the beach has public beach access and the on the beach parking ramp. Local food and grocery within 2 miles. There is also a unit in the back of the property that can be rented with the main house and sleeps 4 people, the unit out back may also have another renter in the unit during your stay

The back porch is available for guest to hang out on bbq grill available washer and dryer are located in garage through back porch door into garage. There is a play pen and bed side bassinet for infants as well. There is 2 queen beds a king and a blow up with frame queen bed.

Great location. House could use some simple updating inside and out (toilet seat was in bad condition, feeezer handle fell off every time used and landscaping could use some help). All easy and not costly fixes would make this place amazing.

Good location, clean & Functional house! Unfortunately there was a cold front that came through and the heater was not working. I messaged Lauren, but she didn’t reply until the following morning to advise that there were space heaters in some of the cupboards. This made for an uncomfortable stay for our 88 year old parents.

This was FANTASTIC!!!!

This was FANTASTIC!!!! I can understand the other positive reviews now. Its not just being nice or hype. Some of us took the very short walk across South Atlantic Ave to the beach access walkway... I took the bike that was in the garage... and we drove our mobility challenged grandmother in the truck. Plenty of space for everyone. We loved the homey feel of the house. The other renter out back was very nice and friendly. Its on our list for repeat.

Falsely Advertised

We were under the impression that we were reserving the entire room with the outdoor spaces included. At about 8:30, a random man banged on the back glass door and was just staring at us in the kitchen. This is when we found out that this house is two VRBOs and theres a smaller unit on the back for another guest that was very poorly advertised. We were made to move our cars to accommodate the other unexpected guest we weren't made aware of. Afterwards, we felt very uncomfortable the rest of the night and weren't able to enjoy the outdoor commodities because of that.

Super convenient location

We have been coming down here for 10 years. Seems our group always gets a little bigger, this home was perfect for us as we spend most mornings at the cracked egg and most nights at yaya’s. My grandmother lives about a mile down the road so it’s easy to get to everything. Rooms were big, clean property, and large living room couch to lounge on.

Great Location

We had a short stay but found everything at the house was great. The location in our opinion is perfect. Not too busy on the south end but close to everything. We walked to the High Tide restaurant twice and had a great experience both times. Everyone was comfortable in our group. AC and water heater worked great. No complaints. I wish we had more time to stay. If you are looking for something in the Daytona area this place is great.
