Great Breakfast. Handy Location.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Darwin. The hotel is in a good location opposite parkland and just a short walk to Mitchell Street. Breakfast was exceptional. The area is quiet and the water views are great. Staff are friendly and attentive. This hotel stood up to Cyclone Tracey. One of very few building left standing after the devastating winds. Nice peace of mind when staying in Darwin.

All hotels in Darwin are extremely expensive at this time of year. We were very happy with the Hilton Garden inn. I loved its position across the road for the park and water. The room was extremely spacious and how nice to be able to open the balcony door for fresh air. Pool area is nice as is the lobby plus free parking. All the staff were extremely happy and helpful.

Bed was good and the service was great. Easy to get around Darwin. Got to use the hotel pool next door as well as our hotel pool. Breakfast was not very tasty. But the hotel was priced lower than other similar hotels

It was convienent for the tour we were taking as this was a pick up point. The room was clean but smelled strongly of men's cologne. The pool is a salt water pool and very cold. They had laundry facilities but the system of payment was very difficult to manage.

Front desk staff were excellent. However the cleaning staff were not great - bathroom and room were not cleaned properly. Cleaning was done haphazardly. Also had an issue with one of the wait staff in the restaurant who was extremely rude to me. If ever I go back to Darwin I would not choose this hotel

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room had an amazing view of the bay and sunset and we were a pleasant 10-15 minute walk along the promenade to the downtown restaurants and bars. The staff were all pleasant and very helpful and they offer a great breakfast. We really appreciated the fresh fruit and juice options. We would definitely stay again.
