So beautiful! The room was lovely, the only thing is that it mentions a microwave but there was none. The bar had some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had. There was a dj on our last night there and we had so much fun. We had a beautiful view of the beach. No complaints and would love to come back in the future.

Beautiful property. So much history. The buildings have been beaufully restored. Each room is a private oasis. Incredible views of the Pacific. The bar is fully stocked. Our bar tender was a wealth of knowledge. Drinks were perfect.

Not what I expected

The room was quite small, very tastefully appointed. It wasn’t quite what I was expecting, as the room itself was not the type of room you would want to stay in all day, but was great for sleeping. Common spaces were few and the balcony was not private, as it appeared to be in the photos online.

Staff was amazing, my family was heard. Location great. But if I had to be nit picky, it would be, the living room tv wifi setup was not user friendly but I blame the tv not the property. Overall 9.8, seriously though, would recommend!

Hidden Gem

From the moment we arrived, the bungalow exuded warmth and character. The interior was spotless and well-appointed with a super comfy bed, soft linens, a small bar area loaded with a variety of snacks and drinks. Although the room is small, we enjoyed most of our time on the charming patio with its own small sofa, chair and chimenea. The staff is incredibly gracious and attentive without being intrusive. The bar was a place to retreat in the morning for a great cup of coffee or in the evening for a cocktail. They have a limited menu but enough to entice you to indulge! Although right on the Pacific Coast Highway, the noise was not an issue as we were also able to hear the crashing of the waves with the ocean being just across the street. Do yourself a favor, and book this location for your next getaway, you will be so glad you did! We are already planning our next visit!

Wonderful property. The attention to detail is impeccable and the staff was kind, efficient and helpful. The remodel was very well done and makes this an Instagram worthy spot. Beautiful little bar and seating area with delicious breakfast options and drinks. Nice view of the beach, close to San Clemente, Laguna and Dana Point for great food and shopping. Would 100% recommend and stay again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the hotel manager. The design of the hotel was fun and charming. My husband and I enjoyed the use of the electric bikes that were free to use. The bar and interior lobby space was very inviting.

Great for a short stay

Wonderful hotel -- renovation of an historic property done right. The rooms are small, with no closets, but furnished well, beautiful tile in the lovely bathrooms, excellent bed linens, towels and the soap/shampoo/lotions are all from Le Labo which is very impressive and classy! Everyone is friendly, it's comfortable for a short stay and location was perfect for what we wanted to do.
