Wonderful home in lovely peaceful location

This was one of those properties that I really expected to be below my expectations based on the photos, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the listing is very realistic. We travelled to Port Douglas as a family of 4 (2 adults, master 12 and miss 15). The house suited us all. Everything is immaculately tidy (I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere as clean to be honest). Everything is on a huge scale...large master bedroom, huge bathrooms, huge walk-in wardrobes, amazing living, dining and kitchen area and a huge pantry not to mention great indoor-outdoor flow to an awesome pool. The property also has views to die for (of the gold course and surrounding hills). It also has an exterior cabana/kitchen and toilet/shower. It was exactly what we envisaged for our holiday. The house is in a lovely quiet suburb, away from the hustle and bustle of Port Douglas township. We hired a rental car so getting to and from the town was not an issue (there is a huge 3 car interior garage as well). The only downside was the golf course maintenance mower/cart would start up at 7.30am ish every weekday and made a bit of a noise for an hour or so. A small price to pay for such a cool property! Communication with the property managers was great - check in was very easy. All in all we had an amazing time at the property and we were very sad to leave.

Relax in tranquil setting

A great house with a beautiful view!

We shared the house with family for an anniversary holiday so we had all ages from a baby to a grandparent and everyone loved it. There's easy access to town with the shuttle bus but we hardly moved as the house had everything we needed... Pool, Lounges, Outdoor Dining and a great view over the golf course. Thanks for having us!

We stayed at this property as a group of 6. The house easily accommodated all of us, with four separate bedrooms, two doubles and two set up as twin singles. There is lots of room to spread out, with two separate lounges, a large study, and lots of nice space outdoors, including a large BBQ and seating area. The house has a beautiful outlook over the golf course and out to the ranges. The property is very private, e.g., with no issue of overlooking from the golf course. It is only a short walk to the beach and while it is a bit out of town, there are supermarkets etc. close by. It is a quality house and pretty much everything was in working order - only some very minor issues, that did not affect our stay in any way. We were met on arrival by a 'host', who took plenty of time to show us around and talk things through. She was very professional. Only two negatives I would note. The cleaners had neglected an outside bathroom, which had been left in a pretty bad state by the previous clients. We reported this and it was attended to very smartly. The only other (minor) thing was that it was a bit short on basic supplies - spare toilet paper, tissues. At this price point, these should be in adequate supply. All up, we very much enjoyed the stay, everything went as you would want it to and the property is high quality. Recommended.

Plenty of space but found the house to be lacking a little creature comforts. House slept 8 persons but only four pool loungers?? Terrace area could do with soft seating to sit and relax overlooking that superb view across to hills.

A dream home for a family , spectacular sunsets

The house was way beyond what we expected , it was immaculately cleaned and cared for. We had such a restful time relaxing of an evening with amazing sunsets over the mountains. So much space and very quiet. We loved the set up with the private BBQ area Executive Retreats were always very helpful. Thankyou for a great stay.

Truly is home away from home, except better!

We loved this house! We had our honeymoon in harmony house, just the two of us and it was incredible. The rain didn’t bother us, we had everything we needed at home. Kitchen is well equipped and loved the outdoor kitchen. Views were stunning and the pool very relaxing. We will definitely come back one day!

The whole house was lovely. It was perfect for our family.

I think you need a few more glasses, plates and salad bowls (which there were none, had to user lettuce Tupperware. Great backing the golf course which got some use from my husband son and grandson as they could bring the buggy right to the back door. Would thoroughly recommend it to my clients and friends. Stunning house and an amazing stay!
