Perfection

This place was perfect! The host thought of everything! Literally! Beach toys, towels, chairs, gear - all available so no need to waste car space bringing your own. So many games for kids of all ages. Plenty of kitchen gadgets, large dining table, lots of seating, soft towels…. The location was perfect also. I can’t wait to visit again!

2025 Rockport

We spent 2 months in Rockport. The house met all our needs. The location was ideal for our needs. We found the house very comfortableWe were so glad to be about a block from the bay.Our host Roger was very easy to contact for questions. Getting into the house was easy. Checkout was simple.Would recommend the house for family use. It was in a safe peaceful area of Rockport. Will stay again.

Sunshine cottage is perfect!

This was the perfect house for a family, everything you could possibly need was provided for. It was beautifully clean and comfortable. Perfect location for everything from shopping and dining, to fishing. 5 STARS!! Would absolutely stay here again!

Sunshine Cottage, Rockport Texas

We really enjoyed the property. The location was very convenient - close to Rockport beach, restaurants and various other attractions. The house was cheery and clean with a well organized kitchen and lots of beach stuff, including umbrella, chairs, towels, toys and boogie boards. Great property for kids!! We would certainly stay at Sunshine Cottage again and recommend it to our friends. that visit the area.

Great property

I stayed with my husband and two small kiddos. It had everything we may want to make it a comfortable stay. They even had two white noise machines for the kiddos and a booster for the chair. The host was very responsive to all my questions and I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Perfect peaceful property

This is the closest location to the beach we have stayed yet. The house was nicely decorated, and had plenty of room, considering my parents stayed as well. Our boys enjoyed the backyard activities, including washers, football, & the obstacle rope. The entire family had a blast. 10/10 would stay again!

Everything was great Cottage located in an area close to everything Plenty of space inside and beautiful outdoor Because it was a girls getaway our only complaint was no curtains on back door since property not fenced off felt someone could walk on property and we could be seen while sitting at dining table and walking around at night but other than that I would recommend the Cottage to others

Marvelous Vacation Home and Location

We could not have been more pleased with the condition, floor plan, amenities and location of this wonderfully kept home! We enjoyed exploring all that Aransas County had to offer. We could not have had better hosts than Roger and Rene. They were great at communicating with us and the home had everything we might need for our 17 day stay!

Fantastic location, perfect for families

This home was perfect for our family trip to Rockport! The location is fantastic — it’s a very short drive to the beach, HEB, etc. We really appreciated that the house had kids’ gear, including children’s silverware, beach toys, a small bathroom step stool, and a swing in the back yard. (Our toddler was too young for the jungle gym line in the back yard, but I’m sure bigger kids would love that!) The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to our cook meals, and the layout worked really well for us. We will definitely return if we have the chance!

Wonderful property

Perfect Beach House

Amazing Vacation!

What a great rental property! Our family had an amazing vacation using this house as our base of operations. The reviews on this property were great, but I will add to the chorus. The house - great layout for relaxing and spending time together. The kitchen/dining/ living room area was very spacious and well appointing with plenty of seating. Our family spent a lot of time around the large dining table doing a puzzle each evening. Beds and linens were very comfortable. The extras are everywhere. Toys for the beach, beach towels, beach chairs, they really thought of everything. The location - amazing! You can walk to the beach but we had a 2 year old so we drove. The best beach that is close by charges for daily entry. We paid $40 for a year long pass (cheaper than doing daily entry for as long as we were there). The beach is super clean and very family friendly. Plenty of parking and lots of playground equipment. Rockport isn’t that big, so the house is close to everything else the town has to offer. Property Management - I’m not sure how they could have done a better job. We received timely info leading up to, and during our stay. Seems like they have thought of everything. We never had to reach out for an issue because the house was spotless. I have no doubt that has we needed something they would have taken care of us. We will be back for sure, a good chunk of our drive heading home was discussing when we would return. Thank you for helping us have a very memorable family vacation!

Loved our stay!!!

We had such a great time at the house!! Clean... Spacious and everything you could possibly need was there! Beds were so comfortable we didn't want to get out of them in the mornings! Close to the beach... Business district with lots of fun shops... And really good restaurants... We will definitely be back! Communication with owners was also great! They answered all our questions and then some.... You are making the right decision by renting here!!

Great house!

Great house and property! House was nice, clean, and perfect for a weekend getaway with the family! Can’t beat the location. The owners are very responsive. The provided toys (boogie board, sand toys, fishing poles, etc.) were a nice touch. Hope to be back next summer!
