I was traveling with friends to attend a wedding nearby, and we decided to make a long weekend of it. I'm so glad we chose Mule Town Cottage over a standard hotel! Having a home base that really felt like home was a game changer. Check-in was a breeze, even though we ran a bit late, and the cottage itself was lovely. There's plenty of space, and the couch was especially comfortable for a movie night.
And the PORCH! We were out there every morning sipping hot coffee and watching bluejays. Even in early spring the garden was beautiful, I can't imagine how nice it must be in the summer.
Having two bathrooms made getting wedding-ready a breeze. The main bathroom is especially spacious, which was a great feature for anyone who has an event to prepare for! The cottage itself was cute and homey, with lots of personal touches. We especially appreciated the local history book on Mule Day so we could learn more about the area! We didn't get a chance to meet our hosts, but they kept in touch and made sure we had everything we needed.
Whether you're in town for an extended stay or just a long weekend like we were, this is a great choice. I'd even stay here again if we were going to Nashville - the drive wasn't bad at all, and it's worth it for the porch alone!
