The hotel is adjacent to the main train station and DOM, so its location would be hard to beat. The breakfast buffet could be better, so a morning meal at the train station might be a better option. I also wish the hotel had a better wifi connection, an ice machine, and a laundry room where guests could do their own washing and drying. There is no laundromat in the immediate area.

Great location next to the Koln main train station. I only wish the hotel had better Wifi, and an in-house ice machine, and a laundry room.

The rooms are small - think dormitory small. They were reasonably clean but the carpet on the stairwell was gross. The lift: tiny and slow. The location, while near the station, is noisy with buses and drunks consistently disrupting any night’s sleep. To cap it off - the line receptionist locked the main doors while off ‘doing something’ so several guests couldn’t even get access for over 10 minutes. Over-priced as well. Avoid.

Great hotel, very close to the train station and Colonge Cathedral. Although very sketchy people walking around at night and yelling. Felt alittle unsafe, but thankfully the hotel was super close to the station and we managed without any issues.

The hotel was basic but nice and clean , bed and pillows could have been more comfortable. Pillows were lumpy and duvet not so warm and fluffy . Reception staff were very pleasant. For my needs, location and price, this hotel worked very well. Apart from the breakfast room and a few seats in reception there are no public areas to relax. However my room was comfortable enough and you could purchase drinks and snacks from reception. Staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the art hanging around the corridors and I loved the view of the cathedral from my room.

The description make sit sound like a great place and its just an okay hotel. It is definitely showing its age. The hot water was at best warm, but the room temperature was SO HOT. I turned off the heat and open the window my entire stay. I wish I would not have used my rewards on this one.

Great location, steps away from the main station and right next to many late night food options. My check in process didn't go as smoothly with the cold front desk guy, but the situation was quickly resolved. The Asian woman who manages the hotel was such a sweet and hospitable person and made my stay feel more welcoming.
