The hotel was under construction during our stay. The phone in our room did not work, and despite notifying the front desk multiple times, no one made any effort to repair it. Additionally, staff entered our room despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being displayed, so they could remove furniture. This was unacceptable.

The hotel was under construction, they only had one of the elevators we’re working and the whole time that we were there, children were running and planned through the hallways knocking on doors and everything . We called and reported it nothing was done and we had to be up at 6 o’clock the next morning to go to an event so we were very tired because of that then when I told the staff the next morning when we got ready to check out, she said oh we should’ve called and reported it and I said that we did call and reported and they would have done something and that was basically it very poor service

Parking lot was not great, I understand that it was under remodel, but our room was extremely humid and when we got into our sheets, they felt wet. Also, when we took a shower, there was two cockroaches that came out of the drain. There was also no water pressure in the morning.

Low water pressure and slick floors

The place is under construction. That said, the first room we were assigned had a bathroom door that was stuck wide open. The young lady on duty brought us a key for a new room. Unfortunately, the shower in that room had the worst water pressure of any shower I’ve used in memory. The tile floors in the hallways were greasy. It just felt less than what we paid for.

This is my third time staying at the Aggieland Boutique Hotel. It is a convenient location when visiting my son at Texas A&M. The hotel is going through renovations so there are a lot of workers on site and different areas of the hotel are messy and disrupted. Unfortunately for this day the air conditioning was not working in my room it sounded like it was going to explode. The shower head sprayed out a single stream of water. Again I stay here for convenience. But it typically shows better than it did this time. The staff is always very friendly. I hope once the renovations are completed that the overall care and look of this hotel improves.

Hotel is in renovation process. So far, the lobby and dining area look very nice . Staff was friendly and pleasant. The room was small and beds not very comfortable. The main issue for me was that there was no bath soap. The wall mount that could hold three the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, only held one bottle which was conditioner (I’d prefer shower gel). Seems like they don’t want to fix small issues and let guests deal with it . Bfast was very decent. It’s reasonably priced. Not sure I’d stay again but depends on how the future renovations go .

From the moment we stepped in found the place incredibly inviting. the staff was amazing and very helpful. Breakfast Bar was unexpected they had a variety of options. 10/10 would definitely come back.
