"Harbor View Inn is beautiful inside and out. The main rooms of the original house are richly decorated and also have fireplaces. One section of the wall is exposed with the original hand hewn logs. We found the hotel rooms to be a really nice size and also redecorated with a great balcony. The landscape architect truly outdid themselves with the stone retaining walls, abundant flowers and uplit trees. I could not stop taking floral pictures. Best of all we found all of the staff and the concierges to be super knowledgeable and very helpful.Also the continental breakfast was a great way to start our day. We travel to Mackinac Island almost every year and we look forward to returning to Harbor View Inn."
