Timeless Memories - Appropriate

The cottage is located within a No Wake corner of Lake Norman with a very quiet, walkable neighborhood. Parking was large and easy to access. The 6 adults and 4 children found the house, guest house, and docks very comfortable and well appointed. The lakeside front of the cottage showed a beautiful, expansive view of the lake. The open layout is perfect and useful. Kitchen appliances and laundry rooms worked well. Beds and baths tucked to one end lended to privacy and activity at the same time. The separate guest house had a parking space with automatic door and a garage frig on the bottom floor with a nice size bedroom, kitchenette, bath and large closet with a viewing porch above. It was very hot the week we stayed so most of our time was spent at the waterfront. Docking was spacious for lots of water play with provided water toys, a sailboat we brought along and a boat/float we rented. Fishing was enjoyed off shore and dock. Best cottage we’ve shared - ever!

Wonderful week on the Lake

This property is super easy to get to being just off a few main highways but once you are there you feel the seclusion and quiet of Lake life. The house was great and had all the amenities for making meals, barbecuing on the deck, etc. the dock is huge and the position on the lake is great. We swam for hours each day and were just a short 10-15 minute boat ride to restaurants and a gas dock. The mornings and evenings were so peaceful and the neighbors were very nice on both sides. My kids and I had an amazing week of fantastic family time. We will be back next year.

Slice of Heaven on Lake Norman

We had a fabulous stay at this gem on the lake. Such a spacious house, and the outdoor areas were so inviting- we didn’t want to leave!! Wish we had brought the rest of our family to enjoy it with us!

Great place to relax and enjoy time with friends

Great open space inside. Larger than it looks in the pictures. Excellent views of the lake. Dock was fun to hang out and relax. Shopping close by as well as plenty of restaurants. House was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. Would definitely stay again.

A great family get away!

This is one of the best VRBO properties! A true family house, well stocked for both adults and kids. Definitely the best equipped vacation house. Beautiful location, quiet, yet still close to stores. Would highly recommend, will visit again!

Family Vacation

This is our second time at this property and again, it did not disappoint. It’s location is perfect; close to grocery, gas, restaurants etc. but best of all it’s safe access to the lake. We had family ranging from 18months to 60yrs old and we could not have been more comfortable in this well appointed house.

Family Thanksgiving Gathering

Beautiful house and location with amazing views. There is plenty of seating for all and a dining table that seats 10. The Kitchen was furnished with everything needed to prepare a fantastic Thanksgiving meal. Kids enjoyed Kayaking on the lake and everyone loved the fire pit where we enjoyed S'mores . Could not ask for a better experience.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Lakeside with beautiful views. Great, well stocked kitchen and enough room for our family of 10 to spread out when needed and come together for family meals. Our rented Pontoon rounded out our experience. Highly recommend and plan to return.

Beautiful views. This home has plenty of seating, beds and room for the entire family. Our son loved the spare bedroom above the garage. It even has a bathroom and kitchenette which made it his own personal getaway.

Amazing Place!!

We had the best week. The house is amazing. It's updated, fully stocked kithchen, open concept with plenty of room for our whole family of five. The deck with games, corn hole boards in the flat back yard, private dock with fishing rods and nice furniture to sit under the covered area. Lake Norman Boat Rental delivered and pick up the pontoon boat we rented for the week. My favorite part was cooking with my son in the roomy kitchen and then sitting at the huge dining table with all my family of 10. It was an amazing week.
