Charlotte’s biggest and best fitness center, the Dowd Y, is only five minutes away. Amenities include cardio equipment, weights, group classes, and swimming. A 7-day pass is only $50

The property is ideally situated a mile from the Uptown business district, in a park-like setting, on an exclusive residential street, Hermitage Court.



Impressive stone gateways flank each end of the street, and provide a grand entrance to the neighborhood, developed between 1913 and 1925.



Our stately building sits on a half acre of gently sloping land, and faces a quiet lane with a beautifully landscaped median.



The large lot provides an ideal place for outdoor entertaining or for a game of croquet, and offers unmatched privacy.



The master bedroom, with a king bed, 400 thread-count sheets and down duvet (synthetic-down duvet available) has 2 closets, including a walk-in.

The bathroom floors and walls are tiled with Carrara marble, and there are dual showers and a separate w/c. The tiled floor is heated. An abundant supply of Egyptian cotton towels is provided.



The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, which can be joined together to create comfortable king, and the en suite bathroom is tiled in marble. The second bedroom configurations may be one king in lieu of 2 twin beds depending on the unit assigned, however the bed can be converted to two twins.



The kitchen is outfitted with Fisher & Paykel appliances, including a gas range, cabinet-depth refrigeration and Dual DishDrawers. A marble tiled floor lends a luxurious feel, and custom cabinetry with granite counters and an undermount sink complete the space.



The kitchen is fully equipped, with measuring cups and spoons, roasting pans, mixing bowls, garlic press, etc.



A fully-stocked wet bar with ice maker off of the large living room offers a spot for socializing. The living room sofa converts to a very comfortable bed, and there's an elegant desk with a view of the front lawn and landscaped median.



The dining room, which accommodates 8, leads to a screened porch, perfect for al fresco dining and relaxing.



Furnishings include a mix of new, midcentury modern and antique furniture with original artwork by local artists Nico Amortigue and Arthur Brouthers.



All utilities, including broadband highspeed wifi, are included.

Rental Agreement:

Guests must be 21+ to book (verified for security only)

A rental agreement will be provided before check-in.

As per the NC Vacation Rental Act, payment, signature, and/or taking possession of the property serves as acceptance.

The booking guest must complete the check-in form with a valid government ID. Missing or inaccurate information may result in cancellation without refund.





Additional information

Please lock all doors and windows when leaving.

Unauthorized late departures may result in a $200 fee.

Optional workstation rental available with monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

We provide a starter kit of supplies, any additional supplies needed must be purchased



Quiet Hours

Quiet hours begin at 10 PM.

Please respect neighbors and keep noise to a minimum.

Only registered guests are allowed on the property.

Parties or large gatherings are not permitted. Any violation may result in a $300 fine and termination of your stay without refund.



Pets

Dogs only (max 2). $59/per pet

All pets must be registered before arrival. Unregistered pets will incur a $120 fee/per pet.

Pet owners must provide breed.

Pets are not allowed on furniture or bedding. Excessive hair or damage may result in cleaning fees of $250 plus the cost of any damages.

Guests are responsible for cleaning up pet waste around the property (waste stations are conveniently located around the property).

Any pet that continues to disrupt other guest's and their ability to relax and enjoy their stay may result in a cancellation of your reservation with no refund.

Smoking

Absolutely no smoking.

If smoke odor or remnants are found inside, a $500 cleaning fee will apply.



Damages & Conduct

Please report any damage immediately, we know accidents happen we just asks guests to be truthful when they do

Guests are responsible excessive damages caused during their stay.

Internet is provided for general use.



Trash

Trash should fit in the outdoor bins provided.
