Perfect for your Family Gathering - Great Views, Free Kayaks, SUPs, more!

Spacious lake house with rustic charm on quiet cove awaits for your family reunion or group getaway. Modern kitchen + 6-burne Weber grill for meal prep, and you can enjoy your feast at the huge dining room table overlooking the lake. Don't be fooled by the log cabin style- this is a BIG HOUSE with 10' ceilings and 3 huge bedrooms. There are beds to comfortably sleep 14 people, with plenty of extra room for blow-up mattresses or portable cribs. All bed & bath linens provided (guests should bring their own beach towels.)

Your toughest decision will be where to enjoy your morning coffee - from the rocking chairs on the huge dock, from the swinging daybed in the four season room, or from the deep seating chat set on the patio? In the evening, your group will enjoy the fantastic views of the lake while making s’mores at the built-in fire pit, or take your bottle of wine down to the dock to listen to the waves lapping on the shore.

The large covered dock area is perfect for relaxing with a book, floating on a raft with a cold beverage, or watching the kids jumping from the dock. Host can help arrange a local boat rental, or bring your boat to tie up at the dock! (Contact host to ensure your boat fits the slip.)

House is on quiet, peaceful cove, yet less than 5 minutes from popular lakefront dining spots (by car or boat!) and new shopping area with Publix grocery store and Starbucks.

Kitchen has both drip coffee maker and Keurig. Canoe, kayak and SUP for guest use. Lots of games and children's toys provided, as well as portable crib and high chair.

If you're looking for the perfect getaway to reconnect with your family, this is it! The log home gives the feel of a nostalgic trip to the lake house, with plenty of activities for all ages (but there's still fast wifi and Smart TVs in LR and every bedroom for when you've had enough family time!)

Your safety is our top priority. We have lots of children's life jackets and water shoes for your use, but please check with the owner in advance about specific sizes. There are three security cameras postioned outside the home: a doorbell camera, another pointed at the driveway, and a third pointed at the dock. Moving or tampering with cameras is not allowed.

Please note: out of respect for our neighbors, loud rowdy parties and disruptive behavior is prohibited... and enforced. Guests will need to sign a rental agreement acknowledging house rules in order to finalize the booking and receive check-in instructions.

This home is so cozy with everything you need to settle right in and feel at home! Carrie is an amazing communicator and immediately addressed any questions we had throughout our stay. The waterfront seating areas are beautiful, and allowed many gathering spaces for family and pets!

Fun staycation

Great location on Lake Norman. House was well equipped for adults and kids. The property was absolutely beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. The hosts are fantastic and very accommodating. We will be back for the next time we need to take a break from the city.

Our stay was beyond expectations. The host was super friendly and accommodating. Check-in and checkout was the most hassle free I’ve experienced. House was clean and propped for our arrival. It truly felt like home away from home. Thank you for opening your home our stay. I will recommend anyone I can.

Perfect

The lake house was perfect for our family’s quick spring break getaway! Not only did the house have everything that we needed on the inside, but it also included: kayaks, SUP’s, fishing poles and a fire pit for outdoor fun. The location is really nice with beautiful views of the sunsets and moon! The area is also really nice and quiet for relaxing! We would definitely come back for a longer visit! The owner was more than accommodating and was very responsive to our questions. Definitely recommend for families with kids!

Our Navy life has our family at opposite ends of the country. We chose Copper Cove as the site for our summer get together, and as a home base for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We rent homes often and have been fortunate to stay at many wonderful properties. Copper Cove is my new favorite. It was absolutely beautiful- even better than the pictures - both inside and outside. It was thoughtfully stocked with everything and we felt welcomed and well informed. Carrie was communicative, friendly, and easy going. She was great to work with at every stage. We rented a boat, swam off the dock, cooked out, and just relaxed to our hearts content. Truly an amazing property and amazing people!

Everything about the property was as listed, and it was a great place to host a small youth group retreat. The host was very helpful in addressing any questions or concerns, even while on the property. The teenagers loved using the swing on the dock to jump into the water. The only thing I would do differently is that we brought several cooking tools, which ended up being unnecessary luggage since the cabin had plenty (even a rice cooker). So, if you are planning on cooking, I would shoot them a message, so you don't waste time and space bringing your own tools.

Awesome location and experience

Really nice place with so many games and activities available. We were so busy we didn't have a chance to use everything, but we loved the house and lake. The only issue we had, and I forgot to tell the owner when we were there, but we didn't see an iron or ironing board. Wasn't that big a deal. I would definitely rent again.
