A lovely stay in a beautiful location with very welcoming host Hughes and Ghislaine. The gite is very well furnished and equipped and in a quiet location but ideally suited for all the main sites in the areas.

Une semaine de rêve en famille dans le Périgord noir.

Dès la sortie de l’autoroute, nous avons tout de suite été frappés par les couleurs vives et variées qui nous ont accompagnées jusqu’à notre gîte. Le relief est incroyable, la Dordogne serpente une bonne partie de notre route, surplombée par des demeures majestueuses. L’arrivée au gîte ne nous a pas déçus. Il s’agit d’une maison en vieilles pierres, entourée de verdures et de glycines en fleur. Les propriétaires nous accueillent avec chaleur et discrétion, nous présentent un cadre de rêve sans fausses notes, en commençant par une bâtisse très propre, qui contient l’essentiel mais aussi le « très confortable » (Clim, cafetière, Nespresso, Soda stream, barbecue, etc.…) une terrasse qui donne envie de prendre un verre en contemplant une nature à perte de vue, une piscine à débordement, un jacuzzi, un sonna, un fauteuil de massage, une salle de jeux, une bibliothèque pleine de richesses … Nous nous sentons immédiatement des "hôtes" accueillis. Hugues et Ghislaine sont pleins d’attentions, ils nous ont fait découvrir quelques spécialités culinaires de la région qu'ils connaissent bien et aiment. Ce fut un vrai plaisir et nous y retournerons.
