The Caribe Hotel is one of my favorite hotels to stay in. The staff is so gracious, nice and accommodating. The hotel has a nostalgia that's unmatched. The hotel grounds are well kept and provide many amenities. The breakfast buffet is always delicious. I highly recommend the Caribe Hotel.

Gardens were beautiful, the hotel is a very old building and could use some much needed upgrades and renovation. Can't say that the rooms were clean, had to use a towel in the bottom of the tub to sit in it. Some of the front desk employees were amazing and very helpful. Even though the hotel did not fulfill our changed thru Expedia reservation and we had to check out a day earlier before our flight was due to leave, management refused to budge (policies). But it was written in a paper trail per Expedia. ( system upgrades were in progress). That was very frustrating to have to find another place to stay for our last night, so I can't understand how this could be a gold choice award hotel. The breakfast was okay, fresh fruit, sweeat breads and had omelet options, which you had to either stand in the heat to order cause the waiters were not very willing to do so. I gound the pool staff, other employees quite unpleasant unless you spoke spanish. Then they made an attempt to be nice. The little old porter guy was a treasure. All in all, I would say I wouldn't recommend the property to other Americans, or Caucasians cause there definitely was a difference in the way that employees treated you. And there are so many other trully great hotels to stay at, that you dont have to be subjected to this kinda nonsense.

Staff was wonderful. We chose a room with ocean view. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The hotel has so many restaurants near by and just steps away from the public beach. Highly recommend 👌

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very kind and accommodating. Their restaurant service and facilities were great, but the food itself was ok. The beach has a ton of vendors that are walking around trying to sell things to tourists. It doesn’t exactly make for a peaceful beach experience, but there is great access just across the street.

The room was spacious and extra clean. The staff is super friendly. Breakfast, which was included, was amazing. The property itself is gorgeous. Plenty of pools and outdoor space so you never feel over crowed. Overall i would stay again in a heartbeat.

This hotel is conveniently located for shopping, dining, etc.. We were able to complete our check-in process when we arrived but was unable to get our room which wasn’t a problem initially so we went out to explore the town, sites, etc.. After checking back after several hours, our room still wasn’t ready and was given many different excuses as to why. Upon my request, I spoke with Francisco who was the Manager and he quickly resolved the matter in which we were provided a different room and provided with additional services for the inconvenience. Though the experience did not start off particularly the way that we expected, the overall experience was good and we would use this hotel in the future when visiting.
