My recent experience during my stay at your hotel, focusing on areas that require immediate attention to enhance guest satisfaction. During my visit, I stayed on the 5th floor, and I found the air quality in the hallway to be quite displeasing, as it had a damp or moldy odor. Additionally, the dust build-up on the lamps in the buffet area was concerning, as it raised questions about overall cleanliness. It would greatly benefit your establishment to implement more extensive cleaning practices, including regular power washing in high-traffic areas. For example, the elevators near the reception show significant dust and dirt accumulation, which could be easily addressed with weekly cleanings. Furthermore, the banquet room used for nightly entertainment lacked adequate cooling, making it uncomfortable for guests. I believe investing in proper air conditioning would create a more enjoyable atmosphere. Also, while the performers were excellent, the absence of a stage hindered visibility for those seated further back, diminishing the experience.

The property is beautiful however there was nothing to do there and it was far from anything. The nightly shows were amazing, however there were no day time activities around the pool area or anywhere at the hotel, not that I ever saw. We left the resort everyday to travel to other areas, which cost us in taxis, although the resort does have a shuttle.

We waited for our room to be upgraded for 8 hours The room we moved to shower was clogged Literally fighting over bacon food was horrible I wouldn’t stay again just because of the food They tell you nothing about preferred side Room service was a 100000 times better Do not recommend for food. Great trip with some miscommunications but over al

I got in at 9am because I paid for early check in, however they said it wasn’t approved so I had to wait until 3pm to get a room. That’s pretty ridiculous. If you guys didn’t offer early check in I would understand. Overall experience was great. There is a huge hidden fee 330 usd if you meet someone and bring them to the resort. That should be more transparent.

I stayed at Dreams Karibana Cartagena from July 26, and unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and unacceptable. From the moment we arrived, we encountered cleanliness issues in our room—unpleasant odors, dusty furniture, dirty mirrors, and a general lack of maintenance. The kids’ pool area was slippery and filthy, with no signage, nearly causing a dangerous fall for my pregnant wife. The restaurant service was slow and inconsistent. Staff often ignored basic requests, and we had to serve ourselves coffee most mornings. Traveling with a toddler, we were surprised that high chairs were rarely offered or even available, making every meal unnecessarily stressful. One particularly appalling moment was when my daughter accidentally dropped my burger, and the staff simply brought back the same burger with sand still on it. The manager insisted it had been replaced, despite clear evidence to the contrary. We also missed our scheduled shuttle to the walled city due to poor communication. I was promised a confirmation call before 3 PM—no call came. When I followed up at 3:03 PM, I was told the shuttle had already left. The manager was dismissive and blamed us for the misunderstanding. We came here for rest and quality family time, but instead, this trip has been filled with stress and disappointment. I cannot recommend this resort and strongly urge management to review their training, communication, and service standards.
