Great central location with walking paths all around. I would still recommend having a rental car to get around. Room was clean and a good size for a family of 4. Room was equipped with kitchen and full size fridge and stove. Parking was in back and somewhat tight also had to contend with Bagel shop next door and coming back to find a car parked in your "reserved" spot.

Love this place. Super clean and friendly staff. We got laundry machine in unit so it’s very convenient and easier for us to pack our stuff here. Not much toiletries provided (only soap, shampoo, condition and hair dryer provided). If they have safe box, that would be amazing! Hot tub has such amazing view! Btw room is so warm and not too loud

Hot tub wasn’t working. We were directed to a different property to use hot tub which is 5 mins drive. The hot tub in that property was dirty, and no body was there to provide towels, or assist. We had to remove the hot tub cover by ourselves. There is no changing room or shower room in that hot tub. With failure of hot tub, the property was not worth the price we paid.

We really enjoyed our time at Basecamp. The accommodations worked well having 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. The bbqs outside were great and the location was in close proximity to groceries and coffee. The train was unexpectedly loud at night and because the ac wasn’t installed yet, it made it tough at nights. Even with windows closed. Basecamp supplies earplugs but if you have noise cancelling I would suggest bringing them or requesting a room at the road side. Overall I think the pricing of the room was totally fair. Staff was so friendly! Thank you to everyone!

Great place to stay. Easy to find and park. Room was clean. Full kitchen with utensils is a bonus. Lots of food places around. Only thing to note that the guests above us were extremely noisy. Sounded like herds of elephants running around up stairs late in the nights and early in the mornings. Something to keep in mind if travelling with a baby or dog. Obviously not the hosts fault but just something to take note of when booking this location and you get a groujd floor. Walls are also very thin so you will for sure hear noise from other guests and outside.

The location of Basecamp Resorts Canmore was convenient. However, the apartment style dwelling was quite small for 10 people. We had to ask for bedding for the pull-out couch, even though 10 people were on the booking. They were quick to bring the bedding. The kitchen was minimally stocked, so I am glad that we brought lots of baking dishes. There was no mixing bowls or platters so it was hard to prepare and serve food because there was only 10 plates and there was 10 of us. When we arrived, the room was 25 degrees Celsius for the first 24 hours; it was only approximately 8 degrees outside. Someone in maintenance noticed us discussing how hot the unit was and came to check the thermostat. The hot tub would have been nice to use but it was closed due to maintenance which was disappointing because the hot top was a main reason for booking at Basecamp Resorts. Overall, the location was good but I would not stay again if you plan to utilize the dwelling as a hangout space.
