Nice room, let down by service

The room was great and the hotel is asthetically very nice. Unfortunately the use of room service let the hotel down slightly. I placed two orders. Firstly a drinks order with a subsequent food order moments later. The Food order came first (after a significant delay) and if not for enquiring about the drinks order I have little confidence this would have been delivered given there appeared to be confusion from the staff about the existence of the order. The order was taken a second time during the delivery of the food however when this was delivered it was wrong. Due to the time of other bookings there wasnt time to rectify this there and then and in hindsight I would have just left this and ensured I wasnt billed for it the next morning

Great location! About a 5-10 minute walk to everything in Cambridge. The biggest pain is how bad the traffic is getting to the hotel and really only having the option for valet parking. But it was a wonderful stay. The staff was top notch as were all the facilities. Another guest had room service and left their tray in the hall for what seemed like a very long time. But other wise it was great!

Decided to splash out a bit for a central, comfy base for a night in Cambridge. Was lovely to have the sparkly decorations in the lobby, the room was a great size and the bed was huge and comfortable. Parking was extortionate as was the price of the drinks in the hotel bar.
